What are you talking about? Now I'm confused, we already have 2 QBs who are fragile and you want to add another? Why not add a QB who doesn't have that history? Thats my whole point--adding Leftwich just for the sake of adding Leftwich(and he isn't available anyway) would be wrong because he is just as fragile as who we already have. I'd rather have McCown back or talk Plummer out of retirement or someone else with a history of staying healthy and with some playing experience. Leftwich would be a mistake.

We only have 2 Qbs right now...Rattay isn't injured, Warner is, we'll likely sign Hasselback this week...I'll take my chances with them staying healthy than give up a pick for a QB who hasn't proven he can stay healthy.

Heck we might as well talk about trading for Pennington as well as Leftwich, we can have the all Waterford crystal QB depth chart.

Pennington would be good. Do you have an in with Mangini?

Well then, that's pretty darn silly. I don't know that my post was that silly. Better question: who is going to be our qb the rest of the season? Urban?

Seriously, would you rather have Rattay, Urban, Warner in a sling, or Leftwich?

Our opponent today is no better at QB than we are. They ran the ball better. As the saying goes if you cannot pass you cannot run so you end up doing neither. Warner is not injured because he is injury prone but because a lineman got to him unabated about the time the ball got there. Same with Leinhart and his is only in his early 20's. We are in a world of hurt now unless we get lucky with some off the street QB. I guess we can start talking about who we draft with our #5 draft pick next year. Can you believe that both our QB's, Boldin, and our rookie lineman are all injured and it is only game 6? We better be for signing some RB while we are at it as James cannot carry the ball every time for the rest of the year with 6-8 in the box to stop the run.

Ahh... the voice of reason. Your post makes sense. What do you think? Leftwich? McCown?

Make a deal with the Raiders they have 4 quarterbacks on their active roster. We could get Andrew Walter for a 4th round pick. The Cardinals need some stability at the QB position if they want a chance to win the NFC West crown. Walter has started some games and was handicapped playing last year with a JV offense in Oakland.

We need to draft a QB that is 6' 6" and weighs about 236 so he can stand up to a hit once in awhile.

we need to trade for the Pillsbury Throw-boy, that Lorenzo kid who is the Giants' back-up. He can take some hits.

Well Walter fits your description of a 6'6 230 plus pound giant at QB.
