Any error messages?

Can you create a new folder and move the messages there?

Also check the event log if you have Win2K or WinXP.

Right click My Computer and choose manage. The event viewer should be in there. Check for application errors.

Wow I don't know.

Maybe it is corruption in the message store. Try going to tools: options: maintence and compacting the store.

You also may try to open a new message store import your current messages and see if you can delete message from there.

I tried a seach on the MS knowledge base put it is down right now :?

Sounded like a file corruption problem.

I am glad to hear a scandisk was able to fix it.

millenium was recalled by microsoft for major problems. Ditch it.

Agreed, If you computer can handle it an upgrade to XP is worth it.

Even Windows 98 SE is better IMO.

One the other hand there is the old rule; If it ain't broke don't go trying to fix it.

Millenium was broken right out of the box. It was on my computer at home for all of 4 hours when it came out.
