Yea and I really don't like Barbosa bringing up the ball. Ish should do that.

I think Barbosa would have had a better career if teams, including the Suns had realized he is not a PG. I don't mind if Barbosa helps brings the ball up the court but his decision making skills end there. He needs to be paired with a PG such Ish, Dragic or even Bledsoe when he returns. Plays need to be called for Barbosa for him to be at his best.

Great win by the Suns, however, I'm trying to relate it to losses against the Bulls and Grizzles. Would the Suns have folded to these teams again if they had played last night? Physical defensive teams seem to have the Suns number. The Pacers should have fallen in this category. Just wondering if it was something different than Suns players playing against their old team.

I think you are over-thinking it. The difference was that the Suns were hitting jumpers. When they hit jumpers, they can beat anyone. Problem is that most of the time, jumpers don't fall, and they can't create anything in half-court.

So it's the time honored, you live by the jump shot you lose by the jump shot... or on any given night.

It seems the Suns will be be hot-and-cold on their jumpers (whether 18 or 23 feet from the basket) when the opposing defense knows what to expect.

Why has Horny allowed the Suns to spend an entire quarter missing from the outside instead of mixing it up with drives? We had Dragic and Bledsoe. Now it's Dragic and Barbosa. And Frye's drives are few and far between.

I know we have no post presence. But that is one extreme and throwing bombs from 3-point range is the other. Neither extreme is going to keep us above .500 as the refs allow more contact the closer you get to the end of the season.

They were also scoring in bunches on fast breaks. Drajic was not smothered as you predicted, he was beating people down the court and getting into the lane at will
