The Packers are really playing up the underdog role.

MC Carthy On being the underdog:

We talked about it. I went with it and halfway through the meeting I dumped it. That’s not us. We’re going out there to win.

OC Bennett “It’s another challenge ahead of us, but our plan is to go to Arizona with one goal in mind, and that’s to win the football game and continue our path to greatness.”

USA Today: What a nice bonus for the unsung ranks that make up the Green Bay Packers offensive line: They’ve earned a shot at redemption.

We’ve got to have the same attitude that we came into (last) week with, that nobody outside this locker room believes in us,”T J Lang said. “We seem to be everybody’s underdog right now.”

Ohhh the poor Packers . They will show the world that nobody believes in them. Ridiculous!!!!!

They have to play up the underdog role, because we're so much better than they are. They need to try for some extra motivation to have a shot at winning.

Exactly. They are what we think they are...the underdog. What a weird world we Cardinal fans live in now; I can get used to it.

THey have the best QB in the NFL over the last X years IMO so they're dangerous no matter what.

In a bad year for him he had a 93 QB rating and 31 to 8 TD to INT on a team decimated at WR and beset by RB injuries all year with a terrible OL.

They're as healthy as they've been in awhile we're going to have to handle Rodgers.

He played up how "persecuted" the team felt after having to justify how a team with a 10-6 record didn't have a bad year. He played that card all last week.

So, the short is they are being bagged on and we are underdogs.

I could agree with you if this was " JUST " about Aaron vs Carson , but its about the 10 guys that will line up with Arron , and the 10 guys that will line up with Carson . Then there is the 11 guys that will line up against Aaron and the 11 guys that will line up against Carson . I don't see this game being won by special teams . The above should and does favor the Cardinals but the biggest thing that I see is Cardinals HC -vs- Packers HC , that should make the Cardinals Heavy Favorites .

Ours is better this year. We are the only team this week that can beat us.

I don't see this game being the blowout the last one was. We HAVE to win this game. The repercussions of a loss are unimaginable.

I couldn't take an offseason hearing:

a. Same old Cardinals
b. Palmer can't win a big game
c. 13-3 record built on a soft schedule
d. Exposed by Seattle
e. etc.

Lose this game, the season was an abject failure.

Go Cards!!!

They should feel like massive underdogs because they are massive underdogs.

without any fear of jinx, we are overwhelming favorites. There is no excuse in this world as to why we should lose, other than we flat blow it.

and If we do lose, itll be a crushing choke job thatll hurt more than the Vikings missing that chip shot FG.

No one believes in them because last time they took the field they were obliterated by Arizona.

Yep

Seems like a lot of peeps here assume the Cards have a bye to the NFCC game. Sure we might have a better overall roster, but it comes down to executing & limiting mistakes to almost none. Playoff teams earn their way to the Super Bowl & we've got to do that to fulfill our destiny.

The best team doesn't always win.

Your right Bucky, the team that plays best wins. No team goes into the playoffs thinking we may go to the Super Bowl, they go in thinking we are going to the Super Bowl. The teams that thought they may make it are sitting home.

all of this, except c. I don't think anyone can look at our schedule and say it was soft. We ran the gauntlet of every good team except for the Pats/Broncos.

But yes, a loss makes the season a failure.

Oh I love Palmer but I shudder to think what Rodgers would have done with our WR's and run game this year. Palmer has been terrific but you give Rodgers our weapons and we'd be scary good.

I'm a huge Rodgers fan always have been but I do think people are overlooking GB because of the blowout. I think we're better, I think we'll win, but Rodgers is too good to overlook. Especially with HB out he is the classic definition of a punchers chance because you never know with Rodgers.

I think we've got 3 maybe 4 WR's better than their best WR and he still put up those numbers, he's just an amazing player.

But I fully expect to win.

Did you expect them to not make the trip because we're favored?
Hey guys...we got our butts handed to us a few weeks ago...we just lost another receiver...what do you say we just throw in the towel now and no-show for the plane ride?

agree with all of this. Week 16 was the perfect storm. That was probably the best game we've played all season. I mean, we had 9 sacks... that's 1/4 of the amount of sacks we had ALL YEAR. Anyone expecting that again and Rodgers to only put up 8 points is a little overconfident.

We definitely should win, but I think it'll be a much tougher game.

the Cardinals are now missing 3 defensive starters against Aaron Rodgers.
Better?
