I hope these two games aren't the start of a September swoon.

No way I thought we would lose that game. Godley deserved the win. [emoji17]

I can't stand how Chafin has an attitude like he is the top dog and screws up for the 3rd or 4th straight time. It gets annoying.

Don't let me get started on Rodney. I would love if TL would just continue to play Bradly into the 9th, just one time...

Dude there was no reason Archie couldn't just pitch the 9th. He already warmed him up and used him in the 8th when we were up 5, why not just let him finish it.

And yes, I totally agree about Chafin, his swagger doesn't match his game.

Yeah. I know TL has his reasons(if there is any) but at least let us see how he does in the 9th. Its San Diego, and we were up by 5. Perfect chance to see how he does.

What really sucks is that COL has beat the Dodgers twice. If the Dbacks have won these 2 games, they would only be 8 games back now. :bang:

Here's what we know. Rodney has 36 saves, 2nd best in the NL..... When he is on, he's on.

Likewise.... when he's off, he doesn't seem to recover..... You would think our manager would recognize that and pull Rodney immediately during these times.

Just a thought.....

I don't blame Rodney for being ineffective in this case. As I watched him warming up in the bullpen, then sit down when it was no longer a save situation, then get up and warm up again for a brief time and come in . . .

I thought . . . a Closer is a precision instrument. This change of routine is going to affect him. And, sure enough, it did. I raise the point, as I have in the past, if a D-backs fan considered that, why didn't the Manager?

It's a simple game. You throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the ball.

Throw strikes.
Make outs!!!
