Goldy continues to rake. Great to see Trumbo hitting consistently. Peralta has found his groove and Tomas continues to be productive at the plate.
I just got home from a week-long vacation trip, including the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame, but I followed how the D-backs have been hot at-bat.

I'm happy to see that my boy David Peralta has returned to his hitting ways. It is not easy to adjust to getting in the groove in a 4-man starting outfield.

You know, for as bad as our team/pitching was last year, it's quite refreshing to me to see the turn around with the team, so far this year. I am really enjoying seeing some new harder throwing arms in the pitching staff (somebody actually throwing faster than 89-90 mph). Hale has the lineup starting to hit the last few games. I like this new front office and coaching change so far. It's been good for our team and fans, I think.

GO DBACKS!!!

Agreed... but here's he deal. Hellickson is simply not worthy of a slot in the rotation. We need to upgrade there so hopefully, when Corbin comes back and he return to his high-quality form.
We desperately need to improve the offense at the SS and Catcher positions. We can find a way to make it work with Hill playing second and Owings at short. However, Hill will eventually break down - he's not our solution... And Tuffy/Pacheco are not capable of hitting consistently enough to help the team.

Anderson pitches great and the bullpen blows the lead.

How many low-scoring games have we won? I bet it's not more than 1 or 2 at most... Incredible...

I think we have won only one game scorings 4 runs, 2 games scoring 5 runs and 0 games scoring 3 or less.

That's what I thought... We need our starters to go the distance in low-scoring games...
Oh, and the Addison Reed experiment can now be officially called a failure!!

Lucky bounce off the backstop or we would still be batting.

Ya know...This team may not go to the playoffs...or even finish over .500, but they are head and shoulders better than the last few years...and so fun to watch...They have such a good future. I just hope they keep building through the draft, like the Astros.
