True, but we are talking the Goldy Rules here. He still wouldn't get anything decent to hit even if the walk was not "intentional".
Its pretty rare that a team willingly moves the tying or winning run to second base. The only guy I can recall getting pitched around in those spots was Barry Bonds at the peak of drug use... I mean career. If Pollack does not steal they're almost certainly pitching to Goldy with the intention of getting him out.
