Palmer has better stats than Hart and holds a Cardinals' record, so I do not see why he does not make the Ring of Honor eventually. What Palmer makes me think about is the same thing which crossed my mind with Warner... boy, would have been nice to have drafted him

Echoing sentiments here, Carson never failed to impress me with his toughness and grit. The guy took more hits than Tommy Chong and he just kept getting up, even when his knee was in tatters he walked off the field. You literally had to break or tear something to get this guy off the active Roster.

Tremendous respect, and I'm glad he got to win atleast 1 playoff game so he didn't have to wear that moniker his whole life, and oh what a win it was!

I'm as big a Palmer as has been on here but ROH is for special players. Palmer was very good here but not special. It was a completely different passing era when Hart played plus he has was a long time Cardinal.

Bitter Sweet for me. Bitter because CP and BA never accomplished what they set out to do together and they are now riding off into the sunset together.

ROH consideration for sure, he's pretty special for a Cards QB. 3rd all time in wins (in a lot fewer games), 4th in YDs and TDs, one of only 3 QBs with a winning record with more then 10 games- Palmer 38-21-1, Stanton 9-4, Charley Johnson 36-28-5, numbers are almost identical to Warner's, most yards and TDs in a season, has three of the top ten seasons for TDs and Yards in team history.

I'd be surprised if he makes the ring. Stats were ok, but he really only had one great season. Was on pace in 2014 until the injury. He also only won one PO game.

Warner and Palmer are both franchise QBs. Their combined cardinals record is 72-55 for cardinals. I will be happy if Keim can find any QB that can come close to that in FA or draft.

He played with no fear of physical punishment. Only david krieg took more of a beating as Cardinals QB imo. And, his deep throws often were so pretty.... if they were a lady i would flirt.

Yeah... the fact that Fitz is still producing at a high level while being pretty injury free gives reason to believe he’ll keep playing.

Sometimes we don’t think about these guys as human. Retiring at age 33 sounds like a dream to most people... but most people don’t LOVE what they do. Fitz does... and throwing in the towel on your career at 33 with the rest of your life ahead of you seems like a looooong way to go.

Carson drove me crazy just like he did every place he played. He is no ring of honor player IMO but when he was on he was a blast to watch.

This doesn’t shock me a bit. I suspected big changes were coming and that included Palmer.
