Well, that stinks. Somehow I failed to notice that the deadline for this week's survival pick was Wednesday at midnight. I'm out before the first game is played--a new record for futility, I think.

Good luck to those who paid closer attention to the rules.

Surprised you didn't pick your Dolphins for week one as soon as you signed up.

Looks like StL was the popular pick this week. Not a bad call going against the 49ers. I went with the Skins over the Bears.

SoulReaper - that Cinci / Cleveland matchup is kind of dicey. Gutsy pick if you ask me.

I woulda gone with the Patriots straight-up at home over the Raiders. (Heck, I think the Pats will beat the 7-1/2 spread.) The 49ers can surprise at home, even against an apparently better team. Just ask the Cardinals. ;)

A SF win would be nice. Takes out half the players.

I didn't look at the rules that closely, but I played this before somewhere else and if you picked a team in one week, you couldn't use that team again. Is that the same setup here?

My thoughts were, I expect the Skins to beat the Bears, and they are heavily favored to do so. And down the line, I don't know if I would find another favorable matchup when I would want to pick the Skins again this year. So I am going to use them now.

Week 1 is terrible for a survivor league. Any team almost can surprise this week. I don't think the Rams will lose, but you never know it is on the road... any given sunday...

:raiseshand:

I'm out. The STL-SFO game was the easiest no-brainer pick of the year while still saving good teams for later picks.

OOPS! :D

I'm "one-and-done". I picked Washington, and they won by just two points. Had they lost as well, there'd be only like three or four people left!

Yeah. I can't remember the last time I cared that the Rams lost. Geesh!
