When a player ask to be traded, nothing can stop him, peterson has all the rights to demand to play for better team
He is 28 and has prime time mentality, he need a new spot to display his diva attitude
Wilks just few minuts a go deny they are going to trade him, so i guess a deal is imminent

Was that 'trade me' tweet from PP2, or something his agent is putting out there (without PP2's approval)?

If true, I'm sure he's spoken to Michael or Keim since he has a closer relationship with them; Wilks is out of the loop.

We still have a young core with Rosen, Kirk, both DJ's and Chandler Jones (hoping hes not next) This is a promising team with alot of potential picks and and cap space. We are in a better position now than what we were at the end of last year.

With a competent GM and a good HC we would be in a better position.

ATM we are not.

all that said, Peterson can eat a you know what. He's paid handsomely, for the most part since he's been on the team, they've been at least average. It's a bad year, that needs to be rectified. I get it if they do nothing in the off-season and bitching then, but now? *** and play ball and maybe tackle someone.
that's why i'd trade him to tampa

I’d trade him for some top O linemen and a good WR! If we gonna have to win games with a poopy D better stack the O for Rosen! But Wilks and Keim need to go NOW! They created this mess and must be held accountable!

The Apocalypse has arrived.

However.... Peterson is what, 28? Guys, don't get mad at me, but he's due to start losing a step or two over the next couple of years.

We need talent at a lot of positions, and we aren't winning any superbowls in the next two years anyway.

PP21 has been great, but if we could get good value for him, I say pull the trigger.

It would be 5 million in dead money to trade him, maybe a little less than that.It would free up about 10 million to, so it would give the Cardinals about 16 million in cap space.

So it is doable, and the doable in a way that picks and players could be a possibility.

This whole season has been a nightmare so I would say we are definitely in dream land territory.

If this season is going bat-crap crazy, then I am doubling down!

Hire Dave McGinnis!

He’s got two years left on his deal after this year and it’s only 5 million in debt money? Is that 5 million in debt money for the rest of this year or next year to what about the year after that

5 million next year, and then off the books in 2020.

This organization as on the brink of being the new Browns for years to come.
On the brink? We’ve arrived!

The forest fire that blazing from Hardy Drive to Glendale can only be put on now by Michael Bidwill by gutting his crew & hiring new ones. Let’s hope he makes the right choices.

Thanks for posting Coach Wilks, welcome to the board.

Ignoring the issues this team has, it’s weaknesses, not changing & admitting what you’re doing wrong is why things will continue to sink like the titanic.

And exactly why you’re about to be fired. Thanks for stopping by again Coach Wilks lol

you didn't say anything about gals getting mad at you ...

I disagree - you can turn around a franchise pretty quickly these days, and next year they'll have a boatload of cap money, plus all the money from naming rights to splurge on staff.

Trade him... Both buffalo and Cleveland will have high picks. Get a first and a third and call it a day

I agree. I was thinking trading him last off season might not be a bad idea. But he needs to be turned into multiple players.

He was talking about a chicken video he retweeted

He retweeted after he did the eyes emoji and posted that comment. Maybe it's about all the people that are talking up the peterson trade

Per KTAR:

The reason Patrick Peterson wants out is he does not want to go through a re-build again, and wants to win a championship before he retires.

He has no issues with the organization, coaches, etc., etc.

Just wants to go to a winner now.

Just wants to go to a winner now.

Imagine if every star player on a bottom-half-of-the-league team pulled that card every time they realized their sucky team was out of contention? Lame reasoning if this report is accurate. My guess is it's probably not - just cover for the fact that he loathes the entire situation that Wilks has put the team in, and doesn't see any light at the end of the tunnel. What a Mongolian clusterfarkle.
