If I gambled with my own real money on weekly games, I'd take the Patriots and feel happy at only giving 8 points. I don't gamble on weekly games any more and when I did, college games were easier to pick.
I've learned my lesson about gambling long ago. I did it a couple of times about 17-20 year ago. I'd bet on the 49ers against the Saints and Falcons(I think) and each time I lost my money. :bang:

And to make matters worse, we could be on the national TV stage again.
Indeed, the Cards' game will be on in about 90% of the country as the first game of the FOX doubleheader. Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, and Tony Siragusa will be calling the game.

So the entire nation gets to see a football reenactment of the Boston massacre.

Warner needs practice in the cold outdoors
This is exactly why Kurt warner needs to play most of this game. Not because of our chances of actually winning the game, which are very low, but to get him some experience in crappy cold weather with possibly some rain, snow, and/or windy conditions. Basically everything that is NOT comfy UoP.

Unless we just want to forfeit the second round of the playoffs (provided we're fortunate enough to get there), we need to be prepared to go to the Meadowlands and everything that entails, including potential bad weather.

Shiver...shiver...fear...fear...how can we live with this certain coming embarrassment in front of 90% of the football nation? May I suggest Seppuku?

Real money take the Pats, but with my fake money, I will take the points and the Cards. If somehow, someway, the Cards do win this game, I can't wait to see the mood of this forum Sunday pm.

Considering almost everyone expects the Car*s to get crushed by NE I don't think the mood will be bad.

Now it will be a completely different story if they lose to Seattle.

I also don't know think anyone is afraid of the game. Its just reality based on years of watching the Car*s and the NFL. A road game where the home team has to win and the visitor doesn't is almost always a recipe for disaster for the travelers.

Its not just the Car*s having trouble getting up for games with the division in hand. The Giants have lost two straight, scored 22 points, and generated only 430 yards of offense while giving up 652.
