Former Tennessee Titans linebacker Jack Gibbens is "considering" taking a visit to the New England Patriots facility this week, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss.

The linebacker was signed by coach Mike Vrabel as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He took that opportunity by storm, as he has recorded 167 tackles, 1.5 sacks and one interception in 29 games.

The 2024 season saw him suffer a right ankle injury, ending what was a solid start to the year. He started five of the first 10 games and accumulated 44 tackles

Here’s what Reiss had to say about Gibbens:

"Free agent linebacker Jack Gibbens is considering making a visit to the Patriots this week, according to a league source, which would make sense considering his background with Vrabel."

The Patriots have focused on adding to the linebacker depth in free agency by signing players like Harold Landry III and Robert Spillane. Gibbens could end up being the next chess piece to Vrabel's remade linebacker unit.
