And Monty has to trust Holiday to run point by himself for some minutes if Payne can’t. CP3 is on pace to play 43 minutes.

Chris Paul isn’t going to have any gas left for the second half. He is on pace to play over 40. He can’t do that. What happened to Monty saying that he is leaning on Chris too much?!?!?

Suns had the chance to bust this thing wide open on several occasions... and failed. Meanwhile, CP3, Ayton and Bridges played a ton of minutes. This 3rd quarter is going to be MASSIVE!

Really a good half. This is freaking intense. Both teams are in overdrive. CP looked gassed at the end.

The Suns just need to play lock down defense in the 3rd. What worries me is how tired guys like Paul have looked at the start of every 3rd quarter. CP3 is playing a TON.

This is where Holiday can come in and run the crap out of the Pelicans. We need a spark plug in the 3rd.

If age is a restriction for CP3 at this point in his career I say throw the whole idea of "pacing himself" out the window. Let him go off early and often while he has the energy. I'd rather us have a double digit lead going into the 3rd or 4th rather than save him the whole game hoping he's going to be able to produce some 4th quarter magic.
We’ll looks like they are following my game plan lol

Way to go Monty….Playing Ayton & McGee at the same time.

Having CP3 attack on offense and having others dribble it up to save him energy…

Giving Holiday minutes. I thought he’s be too stubborn to adjust tonight. Thank you for proving me wrong.

Dammit Ayton....
Dude is easily the most frustrating player on this team .. I hate the inconsistency at times like these. But it is what it is with a young dumb dumb....you gotta take your lumps with guys like him. But, he's still as frustrating as last year. He'll have to work on consistency of his game for me to trust and feel good about a max contract.

13 points, 5 rebs, 2 assists and a whopping +17 for the first half... I'll gladly take that.
