It was for (ugh) Fantasy Football, but here's something I didn't know that I'd like to share.

3. Talked to Brad Childress this week, and the Viking coach indicated it probably would be two or three weeks before Adrian Peterson plays again. But he'll certainly play this year. If you've got him, go get someone like J.J. Arrington as three-week insurance. Why Arrington? Read on.

4. Arizona offensive coordinator Maurice Carthon loves Arrington, and his touches have gone way up the last three weeks. I would look for him to get the ball in space 10 times in Cincinnati on Sunday. If you've got a flex spot open this weekend, Arrington might not be a bad pick. I could see him getting 80 yards and a touchdown.

Also, from King's pickum...

Arizona Cardinals (4-5) at Cincinnati Bengals (3-6)

Carson Palmer will join Chad Johnson puking in the locker room after this one. Bengals are coming off a zero-touchdown performance at Baltimore, and if they get whacked around by the defensively underrated Cards -- ninth in the NFL in team defense -- you'll be able to wonder: What happened to one of the top three offenses in football?

It would be awesome if JJ had a breakout game. He has been pretty darned good in the flat the past few weeks.

He has been getting a ton of playing time since game one as a 3rd down blocking back and has been doing an outstanding job in that roll as well.

Also considering their LB have to be the worst unit in the NFL, 5 of them on IR right now, it just may be the perfect time bust JJ out in passes in the flat, screens, and runs to the outside. Speed would really hurt that LB unit.

Am I the only one to notice that Maurice Carthon is not our OC?

It all depends on the weather. Cold is Okay. Cold and drizzly or rainy is not. Wind on top of that would be a killer for offense.

Any forecasts yet?

Seating Capacity: The stadium has 65,535 seats on three levels, including 7,600 club seats and 114 private suites.

Playing Surface: The Bengals began play at Paul Brown Stadium in 2004 on a new FieldTurf playing surface. FieldTurf's surface looks, feels and plays like natural grass. It offers a consistent playing surface regardless of the weather conditions. The loose-fiber system is safer for players than previous synthetic surfaces. Shoes do not stick, and the softer surface minimizes compression injuries. FieldTurf's patented "infill system" replicates natural soil, and is comprised of a mixture of sand and recycled rubber.

Updated Forcast:
Sun
Nov 18 Cloudy 52°/31° 20 % chance of precipitation
High is expected by 2:00 PM (game-time).

Thanks Redheart. Sprinkles? I'm not buying until I see it.

One of my sisters lives just outside of Cleveland. On the "dry side" of Cleveland, if there really is such a thing. She says "cold and wet" is the best it ever gets there, even in mid-summer.

Okay, maybe I exaggerate. But I expect a game-long deluge.

He got six touches last week (with the one long run to the 1 called back). Not really crazy.

I bet money he don't see 10 touches. If he does attain 80 yards and a TD its because he broke one long one. Or soppe din garbage time either while winning or losing.

I'll take that bet, double down on it too. And of course he'll need to break a long one for his 80 yds and a TD on only 10 touches. That's what they hope for playing him that way.

Sheesh. No faith.

How I know Peter King is a tool

Carthon is not our offensive coordinator. Haley is. Carthon is our RB coach. It took me 30 seconds to confirm that. I'm sure King could have had an intern do it.
