I'll take that bet, double down on it too. And of course he'll need to break a long one for his 80 yds and a TD on only 10 touches. That's what they hope for playing him that way.

Sheesh. No faith.

I wouldn't be suprised if JJ broke 100 all purpose yards, and scored at least once. The progress has seemed decent for him stat-wise, he had a great gain called back last week, but balls-wise he's taken a couple leaps. I think he finds himself in a big game this week. If Shane loses, make him shave his mustache.

Ithink if they use jj like Philly uses westbrook in space, he might have a good chance to get some impact and really help us move the ball in the outside

JJ has made some nice plays of late out of the backfield catching the ball--

I like it in that if teams want to play the deep zone, sagging to take away the Cards wide outs -- JJ is the kinda guy who if he makes the short zone guy miss, can take a 5 yard pass 20 yards.

That being said, the next arm tackle he runs through will be his first

Perfect week for screen unfortunately for two things

99% of our screens come back on penalty usually due to a wr blocking in th eback (Boldin!).

second, we dont run more than 1 or 2 a game max.

Naw. I would bet but I think this is going to be a mud bowl, with almost no offense because of bad weather.

Completely disagree.

I think either Edge or Warner is going to have huuuge day against that porous Cinci D. And with our secondary hurting like it is I expect Ocho Cinco and Housh to have a TD each as well.

After watching every minute of every game this season, I have come to this conclusion. (And i think this is primarly because of Warner being our QB opposed to Leinart - so hold the Steelers game in the back of your mind)

Any team with a D in the top 15 we will likely lose too. We just can't handle teams that are more physical then us and look all world against soft cream puffs like Detroit. Our defense is great but when they get no support from the O they are just good enough to lose. Looking at our remaining schedule I see us losing to Seattle and (gasp) SF but winning the rest. Of course that is assuming the Cards come out tomorrow and show me they can win on the road against an inferior team.

BTW - Congrats about Duke Skkorp. You guys needed that.

he is a long ways from even "slowly" aquiring a title such as that.

Larry Centers rushed for 276 yards on 101 carries in 1997. Arrington has already shown he can do better than that. But just barely.

You remember the guy. He dove head first at defenders feet 112 times for 370 yards his rookie season.

I think any facsimile of speed at this point is sorely needed. If it's J.J., great, if it's Quan's mom whatever, just need to stretch the field outside or deep.
