Lynch wins that game all day, but you want to prove you can win it in a different way. Thank you!!!

Carroll tried to get cute and show off and the football gods told him no.

Awesome.

Has to be one of the worst play calls in SB history. Such a risky play bc of the short field and tight coverage. Patriots D was pretty spread out. Lynch would have scored easily. Amazing. Love it. Seahawks can suck it.

What a horrible call. When Marshawn Lynch retires/leaves I have a feeling they will start to realize just how lucky they were to have him.

My thoughts were that if that was a Cardinal defender who did that it would of drawn a flag.

Yes they both have a right to the ball but the dude went through the WR to get the ball and I thought technically that was PI and again obviously not when a Patriot does it but if a Cardinal did that I'm thinking the yellow hanky goes flying.

Yeah, I tend to agree.

It's not the first time he's made a bonehead decision under pressure. On 4th and short vs texas he leaves the heisman trophy winner on the sideline and texas wins.

Pete is just making it worse by explaining their decision. I hate when coaches deny that they regret their decisions. Mad stubborn!

There's a conspiracy theory rolling around now that the reason behind "The Call" was that if Wilson completed that pass that he'd have been tabbed as the game's MVP, and that if Lynch had been given the ball and had scored that he would have been the MVP.

"They" didn't want Lynch as the MVP, since Wilson is the face of the franchise and "they" didn't want a Super Bowl MVP award to potentially drive up Lynch's asking price for next season.

That sounds so far fetched I think I believe it!

Nothing wrong with the call, but the execution was pathetic. Carroll is easy to blame but Russell threw that ball poorly. He threw it high and wide. If he doesn't throw that pick they have 2 more shots. Blame Russell. That has TD written all over it, if he throws it in the right spot. Loved the game and the result was better. Real bonehead play followed when the brawl broke out. 15 yard "punch" penalty made the kneel down plays possible.
