FULL DISCLOSURE: My DVR cut out right before the Cards kicked the extra point--I missed Philly's furious comeback effort. I saw that Deone Bucannon got his first pass defensed of the season. Good on him. It was hard to come up with three goats for this game, and honorable mentions for heroes abound.

1. Antonio Cromartie, CB. We will not be able to afford extending the contract of Antonio Cromartie, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Cromartie was exceptional covering exactly the type of high-quality #2 WR that he's best over.

2. Larry Fitzgerald, WR. We will not be able to afford keeping Larry Fitzgerald on the roster in 2015. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't immensely enjoy days like yesterday. Fitzgerald's TD run was so reminiscent of what #11 was able to do during the Cards' two playoff runs.

3. Ed Stinson, DT. This young man is getting better with more snaps that he's getting. Great credit to Steve Keim for finding this talent and the coaching staff for developing him. Yesterday he looked like Baby Nine-oh.

1. Michael Floyd, WR. Woof. Three targets, no catches, including two that went off of his hands. Floyd should carry a JUGGS machine around with him all week like that Columbia feminist student.

2. Bruce Arians, HC. All credit due to the ballsy playcall on third down in the final Arizona possession. That said, Arians's in-game management, including use of timeouts and challenges, has been terrible most of the season. It's time to take the challenge review job away from LBs coach Mike Caldwell upstairs; he doesn't know what he's doing.

3. University of Phoenix Stadium Ticket Holders. Fitzgerald thanked fans for making UofP "deafening" on Facebook last night. That's not what came across on the broadcast, where there were large swaths of Eagles fans and enormous cheers when calls when for the Eagles.

Fully agree with the timeout management by BA this season. Especially after halftime. So many times early in the 3rd we blow a timeout on offense. In the first half, use your timeouts. After half time you need to save them until the end

Tommy Kelly deserves a hero nod. He had a great game. As for Floyd, can't blame him for only being targeted 3 times. He's been the #1 receiver and deep threat this season so the Eagles put a lot of focus on him. This freed Brown up for that bomb. Sometimes a player's contribution doesn't show up in the stat sheet but it's there.

Fitz and Brown benefitted from Floyds extra attention, but he had his hands on a couple of balls he should have caught

That 2nd challenge was just stupid. Cooper obviously made a good catch. To burn a challenge on that didn't make sense. Thankfully it didn't burn us.

Exactly. And we had a 15 yard defensive penalty on that play anyways. Even if we won the challenge they would have gotten the first down

Pereira said it was a good challenge because if you win it they lose all the yardage. But it was obviously a catch, and what if on that last portion of the game we need a challenge and can't do it, then it's huge,.

I agree whoever is deciding to throw the flag for challenges is doing a horrible job.

I also thought Arians got really conservative mid 3rd quarter we kept stopping them near midfield they'd punt and we'd get the ball inside the 20 and go 3 and out. The defense was clearly getting exhausted and eventually broke allowing the long TD to Maclin. To his credit he called the TD throw to Brown, ballsy play but he really got too conservative earlier he put too much pressure on his defense.

If we only had a TE worth a damn this offense would be much better off.

I keep reading that receiver would not have come down in bounds on the last play, no matter what. I think that is bogus. Rashad Johnson saved that game for us. He thought about going for the pick, but realized how close they were to the sidelines and made the decision to push the receiver out. He is THE hero of the game for me.

Is everything

It seemed like when Fox panned to the crowd 9 times out of 10 they chose to zero in on Eagles fans. Was the TV producer from Philly or something?

I was dead-wrong about Stinson but I'm happy to admit it. His speed and motor are impressive.

The offense did nothing on many series.

Poor play calling and the interior of the Oline was getting worked.

For sure a decent TE that can catch would really help us. Niklas being injured is really slowing down the offense.

.

Question on Fitz's contract next year, sportstrac shows dead money of $14.4 million next year, that is the amount that will count against the cap next year if we cut him correct?

That is typical for NFL Cardinal broadcasts

Not true. On the opening Monday nighter they showed Cards fans all night. They would show my man Kid Stallyn many times. Even yesterday they would show some rather large individual wearing damned near a full Cardinal uniform helmet and all. Kind of looked like Jumbo from The Replacements.

I thought the Cardinals fans were loud and proud in this game. Yes, there were way too many iggle fans in the house, but the Cardinal 'fans' who didn't sell out were plenty loud in this game and the iggle fans went home sad.

Hopefully the Cardinals and Fitz can get something done. But obviously Larry is going to have to take a pay cut of some kind. It was bad enough seeing Anquan Boldin depart. I don't want to endure that feeling again.

I think part of it was zeroing in on a certain well endowed female Eagle fan. They showed her at least 2-3 times yesterday.

I DVRd the game and watched it late last night but came here to say the same thing. They zoomed in on Eagles fans like crazy, and as soon as the finished zooming in on fans they cut to one of the players. It was like they were subliminally trying to sell the Eagles to the TV audience. Blatant!

Michael Floyd's hands seem to be either "on" or "off" on a game to game basis --

three contested throws for big plays -- he has to come up with at least one of those

I thought Palmer -- particularly in the second half -- hurried many throws when the protection was fine -- and also wasnt as accurate on shorter throws
