The Chase role, aka, the “actual best RB on the roster” role. Agreed.

Eno & Williams seem to have much less problems running behind Hudson & Pugh than Conner do. Wonder why.
Conner's longest run if the year is still 10 yards, which ranks 113th in the league. He obviously isn't a speed back, but that's still crazy.

Best 7 million dollar short yardage back money can buy!

Seriously… they need to bite the bullet and just use him as such and let Eno and Williams be the bell cows. Conner’s got very little burst in those legs at this point.

He was cut by multiple teams. He was average at best. Strange that he goes to Green Bay & all of a sudden he's all pro.
Yeah, same could be said of D’Vondre Campbell. Hindsight is 20/20 - I’ll give you that.
Maybe that says a lot about how much the Packers' defense coaching staff is better at developing/utilizing the players than ours. Hey Keim, maybe target someone from there next time you hire the DC.

The facts that Philly is undefeated and getting hype, that we have not looked good in our two wins, have lost 8 straight at home...

Are exactly why i am highly confident we are going to win.
I see no reason to go gloom and doom while we’re still 2-2, with Hop on the horizon.

I mean… that streak has to end at SOME POINT!

He is a short yardage back. He gets the most out of what is there.
If that were the case, why are the other backs getting so much more?

He’s making like 2x what the other dudes are making combined, but half as productive. It’s probably hurting the offense to have him as a starter even on the first series.

If Hamilton can just be decent and can keep Wilson off the field I will feel a lot more confident in this Defense.

Why?

He's only allowed 11 catches on 23 targets or 43%. He's only given up 138 yards in 4 games and a 66.9 passer rating when targeted. And hasn't given up a single touchdown.

And all while playing 98% of snaps. All of which are elite numbers.

Byron Murphy is giving up 56% and 92.9 passer rating, which is still good, especially as he is mainly covering WR1's.

Marco hasn't been bad on counting numbers. Kind of like how everyone though Dre Kirkpatrick sucked but when I looked up his actual numbers he gave up like an 87 QB rating.

Da Hilg, Have you watched Jalen Hurts this year? You're giving zero credit to his ability to throw the rock. This isn't the Hurts of old. He's delivering the ball both from the pocket and on the run and has superb WR talent in Brown and Smith as well as Goedert who's also one of the top TE's in the game. Couple that with perhaps the best line in football and you can see why this game is prone to be a huge problem for us. In the Vikings game he had an 80% completion percentage, 300 yards passing and two rushing touchdowns in the game. Never been done before in HISTORY.
As much as this broad rips the Cardinals defence I don't think I'd come here if we had the Vikings defence

The Eagles have the Cowboys next week (basically their Rams). So we can catch them looking ahead as well.

this game has the makings of a trap game for the Eagles

they have spent the week with media (justifiably) swooning over them

they travel across country, to a non-division game

against a team that has put out some pretty uninspiring film

with a giant divisional matchup coming next week

Yeah, but if the cards play anywhere near as bad as they have in the first half of the last 4 games it won't matter, they will still get stomped.

Yeah he does something like that almost every week in limited play. It's weird they have arguably as good a front four as anybody in the league, maybe healthy the 49ers are better, but they still picked Davis and it still looks like a good pick for them. He doesn't have any sacks but he's even been a factor on passing plays he's pushing his man straight back into the pocket.
