Man, we could have drafted Boozer instead of CJ!!! :bang:

Going into that draft, I wanted Hilario and Boozer, but I also didn't think Amare would be there when we drafted....

I was pushing for Boozer, but that was mostly because I'd seen him and knew about his weight loss. Prince had less visibility and the Suns did have Marion (you could never put both in the lineup at the same time).

I have to admit my taste in propsects has changed over the years, but I would never have selected a slow outside shooting specialist even then.

I wanted the Suns to go big with both picks in that draft. I had Wilcox and Hilario as players that I liked going into the draft (just glad I didn't covet Jeffries). I thought Stoudemire might be too risky for JC but as I recall he visited with Stoudemire twice before the draft (should have been a big clue).

It's amazing how right the Suns were on Stoudemire and wrong on Jacobsen. However, I wouldn't have minded if they had drafted Prince with the second selection. I think many posters had Boozer on their list. In Jacobsen, I think the Suns were thinking of Jeff Hornacek.

One of the worst if not stupidest trades suggested to date.

I think this is unnecessary.

I have read hundreds of trade proposals on this site that I thought were stupid. Can't you just say what you don't like or just say nothing at all?

Oh like.....It's wonderful? :doi: If a trade idea is stupid what should I say...it's not so smart? I didn't call the person stupid. I called the idea stupid. There is a difference. Some of my ideas have been called worse and I have not taken offense. Ask Cheese. :D

I swear bad trade proposals are a form of trolling.

Are there good ones? There are a few. Usually you can tell by the amount of thought and analysis that goes into them including an ability to look at the deal from all sides.
