If the scoring was reversed and we were still playing our starters and running up the score, then the Nuggets would start throwing punches and running away.

The Nuggets did this a few nights ago to the Lakers. Bush league. George Karl is a piece of crap...I hate that mouthscar ****.

This denver team looks like it is going to become a team that will force ANY team they go up against to focus almost completely on defense instead of offense because of how one sided they are. Tons upon tons of offense from all angles but bad defense.

Lazy off on defense against them and they will drop 140 on you.

Man we sucked bad... did anyone notice there were five coaches in tonite's game? Mike, Dan, Tony, George, and Karl.
I can't say we sucked bad...we lost...but our 107 pts. would have beaten 14 of the 16 other teams that played tonight...not that that matters to us...my point is 107 is still a respectable score--just not good enough tonight.

If AI and Melo are hitting their shots then they'll be awfully tough to beat. But the odds of them both being hot at the same time consistently isn't that great. Their other players can't really pick up the scoring slack because, well, they won't get a chance to.

From the boxscore it looks like you better put some pressure on AI or it can be over.

Funny because a couple weeks ago I caught a denver game and it looked like AI had lost a step and he had a foot problem.

Guess that is all over now. Time to rejoice if your a nuggets fan.

To D'Antoni, I hope you remember Rose is still a Suns player

He has hardly remembered who is on his bench the entire season. I think it's fair to say that the Suns can't and don't run for entire stretches in games. I am sick of hearing Rose is to slow. Give him some freaking minutes already.

Pretty nice, you had us going for a while. But why does a Suns fan get his NBA news from a Dallas newspaper? Looks like your sheep's clothing has busted a few seams.

pkdumas, thefallen49.....they are dropping like flies. The Troll Patrol is in full swing and our IGNORE lists are going to get a workout between now and the end of the season.

We are by far the worst team in the NBA. BY FAR!
If you knew the Suns were going to win only two of them, which two would you have wanted them to be?

I would take all 4, anything to get that top seed that we NEED.

Look dude, I'm just bummed about getting beat by something like 50 points in the last two games, right after we thought we had crossed a hurdle. As for the Dallas newspaper, I have the internet. I have a feed that gets articles from all over the country. Any time Phoenix is mentioned, the article comes up in the list. How can you argue that if the Mavs beat the Pistons today and the Suns in a couple weeks, that Dirk will not be firmly planted as MVP? I don't think pointing that out should make you think I'm a troll. Think about it.

No, what makes you a troll is that you are a Mavs fan pretending to be a Suns fan. Next time perhaps at least consider using a different user name?

No, that's not the evidence. Obviously Nowitzki will win the MVP. Most of us on this board have been saying that for months. All Suns fans (should) care about is winning the title. They'll need to step up their play in the postseason to have a chance, but which way the MVP vote goes has nothing to do with that.

Anyway, keep up your game, if it makes you happy. As long as you can pretend you're fooling some people, that should be enough to satisfy you.

Yet, when Isiah and the Knicks took a stand against this moron and his antics, everyone sided with Karl... Too funny...
I was one voice out of a sea of haters, who sided with the Knicks for making the decision to not sit back and allow Karl to do what he always does - rub your nose in a bad loss... There's no place for that in pro sports. God I can't stand the man...

And an even heavier sprinkling of "we" and "us" and "our" could be used if he gets "desperate" to sound legit. ;)

Could that game have been any worse for the Suns?

Absolutely nothing went their way.

They did manage to show a little fight and keep it to only -30.

For the first time this year I literally had to force myself to watch the 4thQ because there was no way they'd get back in it. Sounds funny to say, but "only" losing by 24 makes it sound closer than it really was. Let's hope they'll all have two nights of remorseful insomnia and come out ready to play Tuesday.

Sorry guys, I just can't stand watching Dirk hit a twisting, turning, one-legged fall away 19 footer to seal the deal against the mighty Pistons.

Can't see how this comment fits into this thread.

The lose to detriot was more the suns playing crappy than detriot defense. I am not even worried about detriot. lets not forget who there coach is. I am more worried about miami- u know wade going to be back.

As for the west- the nuggets played there best game of the year. I think a good butt whoopin would help open the suns eyes. I think lately they have been in cruise control outside from thje game versus dallas.

At some point the nuggets are going to struggle and george carl is going to start talking ang throwing his players under the bus.

I think dantoni should stop babying diaw. I think diaw is slowing the team down.

I mean Leandro plays- not on defense but at least he presents some kind of threat. JJ Plays defense now. Kurt just need to coral rebounds and defend the post. I think Raja needs to rest and heal his knees. shawn should attack the basket more on half court. I THINK THE SUNS HAVE THE TALENT TO CHALLENGE SAN ANTONIO, DALLAS AND MIAMI- From here on out its there heart thats in question.

EVEN 0 is ok if Suns play a competitive games.

Down by 2x points in straight 2 games for a strong team is not acceptable. day to day match is not a reason for a poor performance.

Let's see the November's game, the straight 4 loses are competitive loses, down by 5 to 7 pts. I can accept it.

weak performances both nights. After that emotional win against Dallas, I am so disappointed in this team for failing to play to their potential. Please dont carry this over into the playoffs

yeah, I've always hated Karl. He's a real jackass and always talks about "class" as if he's had any experience with being classy.

we arent running up the score against anyone (especially when you guys had starters in most of the time too) - we have blown waaaay too many games to call it running up the score. we are trying to keep leads and win games.

in our offense there are plenty of shots to go around. and fortunately if one of AI/melo is off, theres always that chance the other is hitting. on many other teams, if their star is off, there isnt another 30 pt scorer there to keep the team going. fortunately we have that to help us.

now if only we can play some D...

whats funny is defending the sick actions of isaih over karl. what karl did may have been wrong (although with all our blown leads this year its understandable) but in no way illegal or immoral. what isiah did goes beyond sports and morality. disgusting.

and yet there is place in sports for sending thugs out to hurt other players? lol. nice one.

again what karl did wasnt great but when compared to what isiah did, karl looks like mother theresa.

Please Nugzfan.....the Nuggets were up 30+ on the Suns with very little time left in the game and Iverson stayed in until 2:30 left in the 4th and he was taking every shot. If that's not stat padding and rubbing it in your opponents face, then I don't know what is. That's the kind of play where players are going to get frustrated and hard fouls are going to be given (especially with the way iverson & melo were laughing and having such a great time). I don't care how many leads the Nuggets have lost, they're not going to be outscored by 30+ in 5 minutes. If the Suns had taken their starters out then they might've lost by 50 with the way Iverson was gunning up shots.

To be fair with AI, he was not taking many shots late in the 4th, despite his being only 2 pts off of his season high. He was really mature at that. Karl probly left him in to give him a chance to break his own record but pulled him when AI refused to do so.

A loss is a loss. It's not a really big deal if the winning team wanna pile up scores for whatever reason. Return the favor when you are in position to do so next time we meet.
