To be fair with AI, he was not taking many shots late in the 4th, despite his being only 2 pts off of his season high. He was really mature at that. Karl probly left him in to give him a chance to break his own record but pulled him when AI refused to do so.

A loss is a loss. It's not a really big deal if the winning team wanna pile up scores for whatever reason. Return the favor when you are in position to do so next time we meet.

I tend to agree. If you don't want the score run up on you then don't get your ass handed to you during the game.

I went back and looked at the play-by-play and the nuggets were up 28pts at the 7:07 mark and Iverson rattled off 7 points in 40 seconds (last with 6:28 to go). He did leave the game with 3:48, but he still shouldn't have been in the game that late.

Nah, if they want to risk injury to their star let them. If the Suns don't want anyone running the score up on them then don't play that poorly.

I have no issues with what Denver did, minus the whole manhandling of th Suns that night.

Please Nugzfan.....the Nuggets were up 30+ on the Suns with very little time left in the game and Iverson stayed in until 2:30 left in the 4th and he was taking every shot. If that's not stat padding and rubbing it in your opponents face, then I don't know what is. That's the kind of play where players are going to get frustrated and hard fouls are going to be given (especially with the way iverson & melo were laughing and having such a great time). I don't care how many leads the Nuggets have lost, they're not going to be outscored by 30+ in 5 minutes. If the Suns had taken their starters out then they might've lost by 50 with the way Iverson was gunning up shots.

I couldn't watch the 4th quarter. I started watching the game after midnight, so I just couldn't watch us get murdered until 2am.

Just reading, and 2nd hand accounts..., but it is funny how Karl had their starters in until late, and then BLASTED Isiah and the Knicks for doing the same thing, causing a riot.

What a hypocrite.

LOL, yes he did...and that is WORSE. Karl is a classless buffoon.

Hell, Suns fans and Laker fans are agreeing here...that's damn near irrefutable proof that Karl is an *****.

whats funny is defending the sick actions of isaih over karl. what karl did may have been wrong (although with all our blown leads this year its understandable) but in no way illegal or immoral. what isiah did goes beyond sports and morality. disgusting.

and yet there is place in sports for sending thugs out to hurt other players? lol. nice one.

again what karl did wasnt great but when compared to what isiah did, karl looks like mother theresa.

Get real dude... Exactly what did the Knicks do that suggested they were trying to "hurt" someone?? Hard fouls are given in just about every game in the NBA... And the foul that sparked the fight was far less of a hard foul than so many others... Karl is a classless punk. Isiah is no role model either, but in sports, messages are sent - period... Isiah did what needed to be done... And still, everyone sides with the classless punk... strange...

Like Carmelo swooping in to sucker punch Mardy Collins and then running away like a coward. That was an example of a thug going out to hurt another player, not the hard foul.

weak performances both nights. After that emotional win against Dallas, I am so disappointed in this team for failing to play to their potential. Please dont carry this over into the playoffs

The last two losses were disappointing -- and that's putting it mildly -- but I'm not ready to jump off a bridge just yet. The past week was supposed to be a big test and the Suns split 2-2 against four contenders. They won the first two and battled hard to win the away game in Dallas. Given the split B2B schedule for the next two games, the Denver game was the tough one. It's not an excuse, but that is something we won't see in the playoffs.

Two "letdown" games should be the limit, though. After a couple of days rest and time to let all that embarrassment soak in, we should see them come out ready to play tomorrow. If not, I'll worry. It may be my hobby but I try not to let it take over my life.

Ill admit, sometimes I feel like jumping off a bridge after watching us piss away games we can easily win or should win by a large margin. But that shows how much passion I have for this team. I want a championship so bad that I get scared when I notice flaws in our team.

I wish I had a crystal ball so I can see into the future 45 days from now to see where we stand.:bang:

Oh, I hear ya :) I actually look at the game schedule before I schedule other social activities -- that's pretty bad. Come home from games with no voice and bruises on my hands. I've been a Suns fan since I moved here and would love to see them take a title, but one way or another the past few seasons have been rewarding, at least for me. I was proud of how far they took it last year, all things considered. It's a great team and they're nothing but fun to watch -- well, maybe except for those little lapses now and then. Keep the faith and hope they all stay healthy, that's key.
