Fun night at the Mercury game. Honored military and first responders. Cops vs Firefighters at halftime. Police Chief Williams was there, as was the female fire chief (name escapes me).

Mercury had a big lead, tried to give the game away, but snatched it back at the end. Griner had 30 and 14.

Sunday is Penny Taylor's jersey retirement.

Congrats to Penny Taylor on having her jersey retired today. Mercury did a good job with the ceremony. And we got the win!

She was at the most recent dbacks game I went to, she threw the first pitch.

I'm not a fan of the WNBA, heck I'm not a fan of the NBA either, but she's amazing. Proud to have her a part of PHX sports history!

Man, what a game tonight. Close game until the 3rd quarter when the Dream started to pull away. But the combo of BG, DT and Leilani sparked a huge comeback.

We were up by 1 with oh, about 17 seconds left and DT nails the 3. Huge shot in a huge situation and 95/100 times she nails it.

She is a freaking grown ass woman. GOAT.

BG played with passion tonight. She even dunked it which fired up the crowd.

Tonight the fans were loud. Atmosphere was electric. Great win!

I'd say 3-4 weeks is really good news, considering how bad the injury looked in the moment. That should give her enough time to get back into the flow of things heading into the playoffs.

Diana didn't make the trip and will rest this game. I get it... She needs rest but it feels like we just said F it, we're gonna lose anyway.

We are gonna need her to step up in BG's absence, big time. Let's see who else wants to pick up the slack.
