Want to know who your early pick would be as of now. First six picks go like this:

G. Smith - QB
S. Loutulelei - DT
J. Jones - OLB
L. Joekel - OT
D. Milliner - CB
D. Moore - DE

Trade up for Geno and begin a new era, get this West Coast thing started with Andy Reid while keeping Kolb around. Two QBs are better than none, if Kolb goes gimpmode Geno is light years better than the Skelton/Lindley horror movie we just watched. I think Keim likes Geno as well, and a mobile QB could help us out until we get our O-line up to par.

For the purpose of this thread this choice is not available. :p

I would love to see us trade back a few spots so we can get more picks. There is no QB that should be takes in the top 10. Yes, Yes, Geno will but that means that he is not really a top 10 pick. Desperate teams will pick Geno but you can get a 2nd rd QB with just as much production as those in the first.

I don't think this scenario is possible anymore.. with the amount of draft compensation it would take to trade up for Geno, and the trend to start rookies right away, I don't think you could draft Geno and keep Kolb -- unless Kolb was perfectly fine taking less money knowing he wouldn't be the starter (which I find unlikely).

I chose Lewan by a hair over Teo -- I was very impressed with his play against Clowney today, and he fills a bigger need. A LOT can and will change between now and draft day though.

I almost put Teo. That guy is awesome and is going to be a stud, unfortunately this Oline is a disaster and needs to be fixed immediately. I just hope whoever is the next HC is smart enough to put Levi back at RT and pick a prototypical LT and starts to add some legitimate depth to this Oline.

voted for Matthews, but would also take Lewan if he's rated higher. Hopefully we never draft this high again, so now is the time to get a franchise left tackle.

Lewan at this time. Could change per Senior Bowl and Combine also what we do in free agency.

I think interior line or QB is higher priority. And we can get an impact player later at those positions. I hope we trade down too

Jake Matthews

If Jones or Joeckel fall to us, which 99% won't happen, we could still bolster the line with Matthews. I'm not ready to give up on Kolb just yet. If he gets released then we may go Wilson at QB. I'm not big on Wilson but you never know.

Of the players you have listed.... Warmack is the highest rated player.

Lewan plays a position that is higher profile and has a higher positional value but is 8 spots lower in my personal player ratings.

Fortunately though, since our whole O-Line is an national embarrassment, I am glad that the highest rated player is also an O-Lineman.

Warmack is my choice.

I might make a different choice if Joeckel & Warmack are both there to pick. I don't see that happening though.

Jake Matthews. The guy has the best feet and movement skills for the LT position plus his dad has probably taught him how to be an O-lineman since he was five.

I picked Matthews over Teo but it was close. Came down to the biggest need which is O-line.

Because we invested a year developing Massey, Potter and Kelemete and, while we may like their progress can't be sure these are the guys we'll want to go to war with over the next 5 - 7 years, I'd guess we might want to evaluate these 3 guys plus any we might draft for their versatility as interchangeable parts on our O-line.

Depending on whether or not Massey and Potter could move inside (or Kele outside) if there are 2 or 3 tackles available at 7 (& they're rated fairly equal) we may want to draft the one who's most versatile.

And not just position-versatile; it would be nice if we could develop/draft at least one all-purpose guy who could pass protect, pull, block in space and-road grade. That's what I'll be looking for between now and Draft Day. Right now, I don't know enough about O-line prospects to make that determination.

Jake Matthews is supposed to be a real mauler. Can play either side.

I wouldn't classify him as a mauler. But he IS the one who is MOST versatile for sure.

They could do much worse than him at #7.

To me it's down to Mathews, Lewan or Te'o at 7 unless one of the top 6 drop I mentioned in the OP.

Sums up my feelings pretty well.

Warmack is the kind of guy that can be a roadgrader and just dominate for the next 10-12 years.

We really, really, need a dominant offensive lineman, not just a good one or an average one.

I think this guy has the potenial to be the best at his position for years to come.

And Warmack takes the lead with 16 votes.

#7 pick is too early for him. You try to get him at 11-15 if you decide to go that way. Pick up another 2nd.

Scouts inc. has him as the #3 player in the draft.
He is #7 on Kipers big board.

I get that he is a guard...... But the guy is consistently rated in the top 10. Maybe he will be there.... Maybe he wont.

Personally, with Lewan & Matthews in the mix, I would like the trade back option as well. But ONLY if Joeckel & Jarvis Jones are off the board at #7.
