I admit I have completely checked out on the Suns for the past six or seven games. Haven't seen a minute of play since then. Thought I would check back in tonight.

Sheesh. I don't care that Booker is out. This is some soft as Charmin defense and la-de-da offense. Where is the toughness?

It's like a soap opera. You can miss 6 or 7 episodes, and it's still the same thing.

It's a team without an identity made up of overpaid oft-injured "stars" and a collection of guys auditioning for paydays elsewhere. It was always doomed to fail.

I liked Grayson last year but he's so bad on defense that its painful to watch him this year now that he's come back to earth with his shooting. Suns should have sold high. Maybe they can still get some value but he was worth more before his shooting reverted back more in line with his career averages.

For the record, he's shooting 38% this year from deep this season and 41% for his career.

It seemed to start when Allen came to camp looking akin to a weight lifter.

One thing I'll give Nurkic over Plumlee is he doesn't mind challenging shots or dunks inside. He's not great at stopping them but he'll at least give it a shot. Plumlee used to be athletic so maybe that's why he won't now but he seems to avoid being posterized at all costs.

Detroit has some athletes. Ausur is solid. Tim Hardaway Jr still moves really well. Ivey and Cade are legit.

Tyus still a perfect 5/5 from the field. My old coach would have said, that just means you haven't shot enough!

The Suns middle is open for business.
It's obvious when our rookies are out there they slow this down. Dunn was playing the point and making them get into the play much later in the shot clock tonight. I don't know why Bud doesn't see it?

I like watching Cade. Ivey is developing into a good one.

Cade is like an athletic Booker. I'm a big fan of his.

Ivey is someone Monty sat most of his time last year. Seemed a real personality clash. Dude has talent. Glad he didn't let that derail his development.

Jalen Duren is another good youngster. He's a big, more old school, but a tank of sorts.

That was a hard fall but Beal landed about as best as you could. He flattened himself out so no one body part absorbed a majority. Glad he got up ok.

What is this team good at?
I don't know but I'll say it again, we are not just one player away. Even if we traded D Lee for an instant superstar I wouldn't pick this team to win it all. We have a collection of individuals, none of them seem to know what to do or where to do it.
