How can the ref say it was a legal catch but down on the 1. Then after a review say it was caught in the EZ for a TD but not a legal catch?

Ok, let this be the sign to show you all just how patient I am.

For the first time this season I yelled "Jeez, you guys SUCK" at the TV. After all we've done on the field (err, that we HAVEN'T done) it took a meaningless saunter out of bounds followed by a sack 80 yards from the end zone for me to finally unleash the pent-up frustration.

I agree...let McCown in for the rest of the year...and let's make a real play for Eli Manning in the draft.

one terrible quarter of football and we are completely out of the game........ I don't know what to think, other than the last two weeks was the fluke, not this week.

The last two weeks were no fluke. They were 3 point wins at home.

I can't imagine anyone thought they were world beaters after the previous 2 weeks.

The question was how would they perform on the road.

Either the Steeler secondary is covering everyone in man coverage of Blake is just afraid to pull the trigger.

I don't think it would mean anything.... against a soft defense he might look great and cause more frustration for us fans.........make us think he is the answer, which I doubt.

IMO, nothing ridiculous about this point. If you are playing as pivotal a game as this one was (and winnable) then you don't go carrying on ja ovial conversation with the opposition (I base this on the fact that the commentators said as much). End of discussion.

Its not end of discussion. Who are you GOD? Hell I might start a thread on it.

Fcat is there was 17 seconds left in the game! Maybe it wasnt the greatest thing in the world to do, but it in no way shows if or if he isnt a competitor on the field.

By the way the commentators made a remark on his smiling because it was a deep ball he hadnt completed all year. They said nothing to the fact that it reflected porrly on him for smiling...

Gimme a break!

Actually, Blake just completed a 53 yard touchdown catch. He's allowed to smile or even laugh after doing that.

That's not all they said. You must've missed it. I stand by what I posted it.

As for the "end of discussion" comment. You're right, it's not the end, just frustration rearing its ugly head. And the six-pack of Sol that I've drank.

Yeah he is . . . if winning the game is not what this is about. Do yo really think the rest of the team is going to appreciate that?

I just dont think it is that big a deal...I could see if he was over on the sidelines laughing and joking in the 3rd when the wheels came off. But hell there was no time left, he just completed a 53 yard bomb. Yeah I think its OK to smile.

By the way the one you should be pissed off about is McCown. He was the one laughing and joking and slapping around B. Johnson during the replay timeout. Everyone else was solemn waiting on the decision, and hes over there laughing it up!
