did you go from "debatable" to "not sure" to "definitely downgraded" in the same post?

you list all the questionable positives of one player and compare them to the questionable negatives of another, and assume your own conclusion off that!?!?

why bother following the suns? you create enough glaring bias to convince yourself of the worst by the end of your own posts!

Yes, correct.

But Hill > Jones can be debatable and questionable.

Hill is older. Has a history of injury problems. Is much slower.

Jones is younger. Can shoot the 3-pter bettter percentage-wise, and can run in the system. Not to mention a decent defender.

So I am not sure I put Hill over Jones. Nor am I sure about PJ over Kurt. I think Suns definately downgraded this season.

Only plus is they have 2 rookies to look forward to and hopefully making them excell in the years to come. Two really good defenders, btw.

What??? :doi:

Sorry but it's not even close. Heck i would probably still take a hurt Hill over James Jones. James was extremely inconsistent at every aspect of his game (including his 3 point shot). If Hill stays healthy you at least know your going to get production. As far as PJ Brown and Kurt, I think that is basically a wash.

If we don't get PJ Brown I still think OVERALL we have more talent then last year. The only problem is without a replacment for Kurt we can't match up with the Spurs.

Don't bother replying to my horrible, negative, annyoing posts for I will never see them anymore. Plus, why read my stuff? I am the "worst" on the forum, so don't waste your time.

Go spill your text over someone else.

Kind of confused by this contradiction above. I will allow you to explain yourself better instead of bashing with no reason.

You say Kurt = PJ. Basically a wash, right?

So if Kurt and Amare couldn't stop the Spurs, what makes PJ and Amare effective? Certainly PJ is no better than Kurt and if he is he is not going to be a Spur difference maker. Wasn't Kurt supposed to be "it" or the "solution" for the Spurs?

Getting back to my main premise: Suns need to sign an additional big man alongside PJ Brown to compete with the Spurs. That is all it comes down to and that is the only point I am trying to get across. PJ + another big please.

good lord, can this guy just make up his mind one way or the other already!

Why would he? The Suns front office has been reported several times saying they will wait him out even after the season starts. He really has nothing to gain or lose by waiting as long as he pleases.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but with LT consideration the difference between 16 million versus 4 million. I believe the Suns are still over the LT.
Yes they are still over and you are correct. I just didn't add in the LT penalty to their deals.

Because overall I think Kurt and PJ are a wash based on their overall talent level. IMO PJ will do a better job against Duncan then Kurt. However, Kurt is the better shooter etc etc... They both had their strengths and weaknesses even though it's a wash.

Having said that, I am not a believer that you can stop Duncan anyway. I think the key to beating the Spurs is keeping Duncan honest and slowing the rest of the guys down. You can't do that without another big man.

I am also of the belief that had we not had that "chain of events" during the series that we could have beat the Spurs with what we had or at least had a legit shot. Now with Kurt gone, PJ is needed badly. With no Kurt and no guy competent to replace him how do you keep Duncan honest?

There are not 2 big guys to get anyway. Either you believe Amare will continue to get better on defense and go with it or you don't. Getting 2 additional big men (who can contribute) is a pipe dream without a major trade going down. Not to mention that inserting 2 additional big men in the lineup (either with or without Amare) would not work in this system.

Noah (Santa Monica, CA): PJ is in Phoenix. Any updates for us?

SportsNation Marc Stein: (11:16 AM ET ) Yes. The update is that the PJ-is-in-Phoenix story was bogus. He didn't go to Phoenix. He had already received the pitches from the Suns and Mavs and others and is deliberating at home, with no indication when the decision will be announced.

Just curious. I haven't watched PJ's game that closely. How does he fit in KT's role. Is he a wash, a step backward, or an improvement.

I would say he fills out the KT role perfectly with the difference being, Brown is a lot tougher....meaner and THAT would be nice to have.....
