Thoughts on PJ Tucker

Guy has been playing outstanding ball. I love his energy and passion. He just has the heart that other guys around the league lack.

Without him, I would say the Suns probably would not be nearly as fun to watch. He is by far the best perimeter defender on the team.

His toughness and tenacity is simply second to none on this team.

Agreed on most...except he's not a rookie.

Played for Toronto in 2006-7...been out of the league since.

Not sure I'd compare him to Amare...more like Raja Bell.

Here is a good article about Tucker and Telfair from today's AzRepublic.

They are both the kind of player that Cotton Fitzsimmons used to call "dirt workers". The article lists twelve others who played for the Suns.

Tucker is playing himself into more time. I'm good with that. This is not a team where draft position or contract amounts should determine playing time.
