Football is not ONLY one thing or another. A good coach will play to our strength and their weekensses. Our two biggest weeknesses are OL and RB. The worst OL in the NFL combined with a 3rd string RB that is 180LBS in NOT a good combonation. GB would be looking for Fitz to head to the corner of the end zone, how about a slant?

A good coach will coach to his teams strengths as well as his opponants weakness. Wiz is entirely too stubborn to do so, its Wiz way or the highway, even according to Kurt Warner anytime he is asked what the problem in AZ is.

Why would it be random play call??? It was a TD situation at the 2 yard line down two scores. We moved the ball pretty well on that drive and to call that chicken **** call to run a small guy like LSH between the tackles when they knew we are going run and fully stacked the LOS. On top of that you take your best guy out.

To run LSH into a packed line is idiotic. To pull out Fitz and telegraph what you are doing is assanine.

To run him up the middle again in the 4th when you have no time to spare shows that you don't learn from your mistakes.

Whoever called those plays needs to go now.

Shane doesn't know what he's talking about. 3rd and short is no longer a pound it up the middle down in the NFL. A former NFl coach with 2 SBs said as much last Friday. It was a really ridiculous call given the personell grouping. If the Cards want to run that play Fitz stays in, Dockett comes in at FB and Sherman is the RB.

Then not only do you have the folks to run a power play but the D also has to worry about the fade to Fitz.

The play call was horrible because it required bringing our #1 receiver out of the game.

If you're going to run that play, no matter what, keep your #1 receiver in the game.

Maybe. Maybe not. Down only 3 having just scored a td changes the dynamics of the game. But given that the Cards have reverted back to the soc days of shooting themselves in the foot at every opportunity you're probably right.
