I don't know where that rumor from before the season came from about the team not liking Kolb.. When ADub and Dockett come out and gush about the guy and now an Oline member.. He also confirms they heard the boos..

Colledge's twitter..
Prayers are with @johnskelton19 for a quick heal. So pumped for @KevinKolb_4 to step up and get it done. But fans booing my man #shame

They were not loud boos. Can't blame the majority of fans for a stupid few. Didn't hear them booing after Kolb lead the game winning TD drive.

Donald begs to differ. Any boos in that spot are disgraceful.

If he plays impressively in New England, Kolb will take the field at UofP with a whole lot of cheers...

Glad to see Kolb come out and look like the guy we hoped for. He stood in the pocket like a man and was very accurate when it counted. He may have just found his lost heart and surely gained some confidence. Fitz appeared elated with each catch he caught in that final drive. Our little receivers made big catches in the crunch.

I thought our continuous runs up the middle seemed sort of dumb in the first half. We did it time and time again with no results. How about a few passes for just a few yards to the outside and let the guy run if he can. I really did not like the offensive game plan until we had to pass on the winning drive. Our defense sort of carried the day in my mind other than the Kolb drive. Lets just hope we will see the same Kolb next week and that our offensive plan is a lot different than the current one used this week. Our defense looked to me like the same defense that ended the last half of last year. Really really aggressive and even sort of mean. When you can contain the big Seattle RB you have contained a heavy load.

Peyton still looks like Peyton. The Denver coach did not let him run the team the first qurarter but when he turned the offense over to Peyton in the second quarter he was the Peyton we all know. He walks up to the LOFS and has about 20 seconds to look at the defense and may change plays a couple of times before finally selecting a play. He may be the best at this of any QB of all time. He confuses the defense and has that very accurate arm. Denver will be heard from this year.

RGIII looked all world. Wonder if he can keep this up. If he can then Washington is going deep into the playoffs. I do doubt he can perform like this for a full season as the Saints are not known for a great defense. Glad Seattle still did not have their old QB. I have to wonder if their new QB will be there QB of the future. I question his accuracy but of course he was a rookie under heavy pressure with some mean DB sitting in the backfield playing almost to close.

Great job Kolb. Maybe I was all wrong about you. I do hope so as Skelton seemed a bit off on his accuracy. Had he not got hurt I think we lose that game. I do not even think we had made a first down in the second half when he got injured. I do wish him well and a quick recovery as I think Kolb is subject to injury and we are going to have to call on a reserve QB at some point. I thought the same thing when the season started with Skelton at QB. My game players aside from Kolb are the Defense.

Can he play a full game with no huddle? Loved what I saw, but I have a feeling we're going to see Lindley soon.

I agree w/ Donald, they sounded awful loud from where I sat in 121, when Kolb came in and then after his 1st inc, those weren’t quite as loud, definitely disgraceful

Sounded loud in 413. They booed loud and long as soon as he was announced as entering the game.

Pathetic.

Something's really wrong when fans boo the guy we need to come in and get it done for the team.

I didn't hear the boos on TV since I was still cussing over Skelton's injury but once Kolb got to the line I was saying, "Do it!" The more I read about the boos the happier I am Kolb went out there and scored and gave the 6-point finger to the haters. (I may TM that BTW. What do teams do when they score after being booed? They give 'em the 6-point finger. I like it.)

But it's disgraceful. You need points and you boo the guy. That's idiotic. I'm glad the team has Kolb's back. It shows they're not as dumb as some the fans.

Can't blame them. The NFL is a emotional sport, also it's a win now league. When we give up DRC and a draft pick, and give you a huge contract any team would expect numbers from that person. I hope kolb succeeds, but if he doesn't expect to hear more of them.

From my section you could hear the boos but it wasn't loud like the boos you heard for the Seahawks entering the field or after the horrible ref calls. Still anybody booing your backup QB coming in to lead the team after an injury is just moronic.

I absolutely criticize their action and call them out for being morons!

Whether one likes Kolb or not, (I have great reservations about him as a QB) whether one is happy Kolb is in the game or not, your teams starting QB has just gone out with injury and Kolb comes in needing to score; and gets boo'ed before he even took a snap! That's a display of complete ignorance of situation by those booing.

If in replacement Kolb had stunk it up, at that time I would understand some booing; even though I still would'nt agree with it.

You can always look at it in a bad or good way. There is always going to be the people that want results or get booed, and there is people that want that person to prove them people wrong<---- I'm this person. But it's just like when Steve Nash comes to town in a lakers uniform. There is going to be cheers, but I know for sure there is going to be loud boos. It's just how sports teams work. When stuff goes wrong, expect the boos. But when things go right expect the cheers. When a person doesn't put the numbers like they are supposed to they are the problem, just like people give Graves, and whisenhunt ****.

That's just it. We needed results and instead of support the man who is now our guy is booed.

What part of that is a good thing? Or smart? Or displays that the fan who is booing has even a teeny tiny clue about what is going on? At that point I don't care if we gave away DRC and sold Larry to the devil to get Kolb. Kolb is now MY GUY. I'm not going to boo him.

Anybody that boo'd Kolb's entrance yesterday was dumber than rocks. Lindley was on the inactive. Skelton got smashed. Even if they aint a Kolb fan, it's just tacky, weak, moronic, ignorant, and the reason we get laughed at. JMO :D

When they brought the cart out I was running the players through my mind and trying to remember who looked good up in Flag tossing the ball around for fun.

It was horrible. I'm overjoyed that they're now saying "ankle sprain" and not "surgery will be on Thursday".

I would have been all for booing Kolb if they had decided to play revolving door at QB and swapped voluntarily, or if his first throw had been straight into an LBs chest for a pick 6.

But in that situation? Skelton is being carted off the field! What else were the Cards supposed to do?!

I've always had a problem understanding the value of boo'ing.

If your focus is on winning and you believe in the contribution of the "12th man" toward helping your team win...what (other than making you somehow feel better) does boo'ing accomplish?

Do you really think that (with the exception of flat effort), the player(s) being boo'd (if they really care) suddenly straighten up and say to themselves: "Geez! I never knew how badly the fans feel about me. I think I'll just do better?"

In my opinion, if you want to win, boo'ing isn't helpful.

For really though. If we were going to be without Skelton for a real period of time, I bet there would be 2 or 3 threads in here on who we just signed, most likely Bartel. We still might hear that news at some point this week, considering our O-line. The more Seattle sent the pressure, the more it worked. They started bringing it after we abandoned the run.

If Skelton is out for longer than a month, we are still in a bad spot. Starting out with a victory is nice, but if Kolb goes down, Lindley aint no where near ready.

We IR'd him instead of releasing him. Hard to say who they'd go after at this point.

Bartel was IR released.. Meaning he could sign back with the Cards, but he has to wait 6 weeks before that can happen per league rules..
