I certainly don't condone the booing but would everyone be as vocal against it had Kolb thrown a pick and we lost? Doubtful.

Rules of Booing (aka, why Sunday was disgusting):

You don't boo your own team unless they really, really, really deserve it. :D (i.e. they pull a "Vontaze Burfict")

You don't act like an ass when a player is being carted off the field and his replacement is announced.

You don't boo a player before they take their first snap in a game.

In fact, you should NOT preemptively boo anything, lest you be proven wrong. (And look like a total moron)

Booing refs is always okay and highly encouraged.

Anybody that boo'd Kolb's entrance yesterday was dumber than rocks. Lindley was on the inactive. Skelton got smashed. Even if they aint a Kolb fan, it's just tacky, weak, moronic, ignorant, and the reason we get laughed at. JMO :D

Exactly. Who was going to play QB if not Kolb? The fans that were booing were misguided.

Kolb was really sharp making quick decisions so all ended well. Kolb provided the spark the Cardinals needed. In the future the Cardinals need to think about keeping three QBs active for games. It may be QB by committee this season with this O-line.

If Kolb would play like he did yesterday, then he wouldn't have to worry about hearing any boos. I wish he would play like that all the time. He was decisive, accurate, and has a much quicker release than Skleton. HIs arm looked stromg too. That was the QB the Cards thought they were getting.

Don't disagree with any of this but the booing would barely be mentioned if Kolb had screwed up badly. It would be one post after another blasting his signing.

I heard the booing over the TV and laughed. I can understand booing if you played like crap. I couldn't believe that they booed him coming into the game at the beginning. Disgraceful. Disgusting.

I loved that he came in and ran the offense to near perfection.

With all that said, I still fear for his safety.

Booing before he played one down was horrible. Makes our fans look bad.

That's just it. We needed results and instead of support the man who is now our guy is booed.

What part of that is a good thing? Or smart? Or displays that the fan who is booing has even a teeny tiny clue about what is going on? At that point I don't care if we gave away DRC and sold Larry to the devil to get Kolb. Kolb is now MY GUY. I'm not going to boo him.

Have we not been supporting him by giving him a big ass contract. It's alright to show your displeasure on this board, but you can't let him here it. It's just like someone talking stuff behind your back, but when you tell them something your the bad guy. Like I said I'm not the one to boo, but I am understanding in why some people do it. If kolb threw a pick, and lost the game for us would we even be having this conversation.

Booing because he did something bad is acceptable. Booing him because he is playing and did nothing wrong is not. I thought that was pretty clear to me...

THIS ONE IS FOR YOU KOC. TIM WE DID IT.
How many of you boo'd Kent Graham when he came in and won the game by throwing 2 TD's? ...I remember this game and yesterday reminded me of it.

Cardinals 31, Eagles 21
By From Tribune News Services | November 3, 1997
Kent Graham, sidelined by leg injuries since Oct. 12, scored two touchdowns in the final 3 minutes 10 seconds, and the Cardinals (2-7) snapped a six-game losing streak. Home fans cheered when Graham sprained his right knee and ankle, and they booed Sunday when he replaced Jake Plummer, a former Arizona State star. "It motivates you," said Graham, the former Wheaton North star who started the first six games this season. "I just had to focus on my job." The Eagles, 4-0 at home but 0-5 on the road, were hurt by 15 penalties for 140 yards.

An observation is all. I don't believe this would be all over the board if he came in and played badly. I wouldn't boo but am I surprised some did when Kolb came in? Hell no.

If he is horrible next week everyone will be booing him, his Mom and all of his ancestors.

Just the way it is.
