... according to those 2 dudes on the radio. Some of the veterans want Derek to start. Speculation, of course, is Fitz/Dockett are leading the charge. Very telling that Cris Carter, of all people, keeps ragging on Matt.

After practice today Matt was quoted as saying "there's something going on and he wants an explanation" since he feels he has outplayed the competition.

Stay tuned ...:grabs:

Well. believe it or not, two dudes here in Dallas are now saying that the two dudes in Phx have lost their minds and are full of s--t.

BTW, Speculation is another words for "You don't know what the hell you're talking about, so you take a wild ass guess and make something up.

2nd BTW, Who gives a tinker's damn about Chris Carter. He's on ESPN and has to earn his keep by putting his TWO cents worth in to the situation. Again, who gives a damn about Chris Carter's opinion or comments.

Hey, David Boston was a roid freak & never played in a Super Bowl. Carter turned his life around & is HOF bound, Boston never did. Just sayin :D

"Matt is our guy," Campbell said. "We will live and die on his shoulders."

AW 2 weeks ago: "He's definitely confident in his ability, and we're behind him. That's one thing he really needs to understand. We're behind him 100 percent."

Come on you two. If 7 days from today Whiz names DA the starter. Then both of those same players are asked questions about how they feel going into the season with DA. How do you think they would respond?

I'm willing to bet they would say they are 100% behind him and that they will live and die with him.

That isnt exactly making a case.

I agree, but things could come out if things go bad for DA.

Neither is the blog you posted quoting nobody.

Just an alternative viewpoint. And AW's quotes were about Matt's leadership and swagger, something he doesn't have, or whatever the reason de jour is today. :smiliefan:

I never said it was making a case. Just posting another article that was backing up what this thread was about.

Let's leave Ohio State out of this :mulli:. :D

This is kind of what I thought may have been the case when I mentioned it in the DA starting mega thread. Something like this had to have happened for a sudden change like this to occur. If I had to speculate who was in the coach's ear, my first choice would be Faneca. A 9 time pro bowler carries alot of weight on any team. The bad thing is I think Faneca is the one who should be cut.

Exactly the same with me and clif only refuting the OP. We weren't making a case either.

The last podcast hinted at Fitz being an instigator through Carter as well.

Didnt Wilson and Fitz already mention their support of Leinart?

Which means basically bunk. Any player who is asked about there QB by a reporter is going to say we are behind them. Except maybe Terrell Owens.

So you discredit those on the record, and credit those who are not.

That's because you made 2+2=3 in that thread. :D

It won't be long before he starts a thread announcing that he's been proven wrong or that he was incorrect when he drew his conclusion. My response then will be the same as now - huh???. And I routinely get 3 when I add 2 + 2.
