I don't want to see any of our tight ends, starting or otherwise.

I like him to, but Bowles is playing too much man to man D to have him abused in coverage the last 2 games like I've seen...as well as others.

That's def Bowles fault not Brinkley... He'll his scouting report screams he is weak in coverage.

Way to much man coverage. Not one of those corners can play man other than Peterson. Need to see more zone. And more pash rush or this will be a LONG season for the defense.

Exactly why I thought he was a bad fit for this team.

Hortons D relied on exotic blitzes, faster players to pressure the QB, while the Parcells D relies on bigger men that have to win 1 on 1 battles for pressure. Unless Abraham just kills it, we're in deep doodoo getting to the QB

Hell to the no! But still like him.

Brinckley and Washington with Minter and Dansby. When DWash gets back we're going to be real solid at the ILB position.

That is until 2 of the 3 get hurt. :(

Agree on Powers and Housler. Powers is just bad and Housler continues to do nothing to deserve a starting position in the NFL.

Funny all the Powers hate after the guy created 2 turnovers in the last game he was damn near a god. Very fickle group.

Seems to me that most vanilla defenses are in zone coverage, but you've got to practice man to man defense sometimes. And it's best to do it live in games. Of course the concern is I wouldn't have expected that much trouble w/ the Chargers. And especially with their makeshift Oline protecting the QB.

I thought he sucked in coverage against Dallas. Some others did too.
That's what I remember reading here.

Questions are: (1) Do we have anyone better on our roster? (2) Can his problems be corrected by coaching or "is he what he is?" (3) Is there anyone decent on the FA market or via a trade? (4) Should we be focusing our attention on adjusting to Cooper's injury instead?

I'm guessing our options are limited and will be confined to improving Powers or deciding between Powers, Cason and Arenas.
