I've read everything you can read about this coming up game and watched every talking head on every NFL channel and sports chanel there is and we all know the vikes think they still have a shot at home field advantage throughout the playoffs if the saints lose a game this season.

I fully expect the very best game that the vikes can bring to ARIZONA on Sunday Night.

We still have a banged up OLT in Gandy and I'm not too upset that we have Bridges starting.I think he can handle the job respectfully with (HELP)that coach Whiz is very cheap in giving our offensive tackles this year.

We also have Karlos Dansby that I now find out has BOTH of his shoulders injured but most likely WILL START the game. He's a trooper on a mission,no doubt. One to get a big payday next year.Whatever it is,I hope to see his best on Sunday Night.Shame he's got both shoulders ailing now.He said if he could avoid being hit or hitting CARDINAL players he would be totally healthy. Both shoulders got injured hitting or being hit by our own players.

I hope the CARDINALS continue to be one of the HARDEST HITTING TEAMS IN THE NFL.

My biggest fear if I have any in this game is covering our weakest area on defense and that is in covering the tightend.Shiancoe is and has been scoring at least one touchdown a game I think for 4 games now and has become one of favres number one targets. We all know we don't have a strong safety that can cover a tight end in pass coverage. He does'nt have to be a Dallas Clark to get wide open on our defense.

I see us having to make this game a shootout and unlike the colts game we CAN'T have any turnovers on our side.Especially on scoring drives.Penalties too should be at a minimum in this game with an ailing Gandy sitting out and hopefully healing for the Playoffs. He WILL be needed later on this year as Will Davis is gonna be needed and will be back to help us out.

Personally I have no doubt that Kurt Warner WILL start this game and finish it unless someone cuts off one of his limbs during the game and he has to tape it onto his body to play.Kurt wants the lockeroom back to normal and the whole concussion mess that occured as he took the majority of snaps last week and ended up not playing might not have sat well with some players. He could'nt help his symptoms but, some would him to have kept quiet and played OLD SCHOOL NFL FOOTBALL and stuck it out.

I think we can run the ball on the Williams brothers and against the free wheeling Jared Allen who may be a lil' too excited to begin with and we can pull a couple players to take him outside and run many a play through the 7 gap or hole.

A healthy Bridges is much more reliable than a hurting and 70% Mike Gandy in a game like this and I'm not gonna worry about Kurt Warner getting injured as I think he's gonna be super sharp after sitting a week and also with the splitting of time with Matt in practice,I think its just what the doctor ordered to see one of the finest games from Kurt Warner this season.

CB for the vikes Winfield has a sore foot and I don't think he can cover Fitzgerald at all with higher balls being thrown his way.The other cb for the vikes is even less in sapp for us to throw against.I don't think the vikes have seen the likes of our offense this year and it will be one of the best games we've played this season.I'm sure OUR CARDINALS also see this game as a playoff game as if we can keep the biggest distance from the whiners we can every game is also the best for us and also maybe helping to secure possibly the 3rd spot instead of the 4th spot in the playoffs and playing a team with a lesser record at home for the first game.

I really don't care who we play first whether it be the packers, cowpies,or eagles.I really feel it will be one of those 3 at this stage of the game. Its gonna be a great game Sunday night.Taking it ONE GAME AT A TIME and not looking ahead to the whiners game on MNF.

Head coach Whiz is gonna need to borrow some Todd Haley traights and START the game WIDE OPEN in my personal opinion. No need to start in first gear and then move up.Lets open the playbook right away as we did in a couple games in the playoffs last year and make the vikes defense back off from play one.Maybe even get them to blitz if they think they can. That will blow the game wide open for Kurt Warner and our offense to start the touchdowns starting and the vikes defense be on their heels from the first quarter on.

Of course this game will go down to the wire as Whiz only knows how to play things too close to the vest and never seems to hold the pedal to the floor a whole game.

I pray our defense can put the clamps on a stronger runner physically in AP with a sore ankle and Taylor with sore ribs.We can help Taylor with that rib problem:D.AP can break tackles better than a Chris Johnson could last week but I don't think has near the speed or ability to be quite the threat Johnson is to go all the way on any given play.We can get to AP in my beliefs. Not taking anything away from ALL DAY at all. He's awesome but we've played every awesome running back in the NFL this year. From DeAngelo Williams,Pocket Hercules(jags),Steven Jackson the rams whole offense,Addai/Brown,Handled the giants and bears,Gave too much to the seahawks backup,We handled Gore in the first game yet did'nt show up offensively as if we were walking in mud.

I think the CARDINALS address this game with faith in our offense and knowing Matt is healthy to come in at anytime and that we KNOW we can score on anyone and our special teams are just THAT.Very Special and Graham is gonna give us good field position.I'm hoping the groin of Rackers lets him kick the ball off fully this week at home and he does'nt try the short kickoff anymore unless coach sees a hole for us.

Every drive we have should come away with points this game.Nothing less should be acceptable.Penalties have to be held to as close to nothing as can be (Levi).

Lets let the vikes give the ball up as they are known to do and this could be THE GAME that favre does just that along with AP or Taylor with a shot to the ribs.We must clamp down on Percy Harvin like we did with Hixon of the giants in returning punts or kickoffs.I have a feeling the HOWLER will see to it.

ADRIAN WILSON is in MAJOR NEED of a HIGH PROFILE game for 2009.He's the top vote getter so far at the strong safety spot as of right now AGAIN as of last years Pro Bowl starter.I just wish he had coverage ability.I want to see him used as a THUMPER this week on everyone he gets around and maybe even with a couple TWISTS we can get him in on a middle blitz right in favre's GRILL.

Screw respect.I want a WIN.I'll take one by 1 point but I think we can do better than that and don't need a CARDIAC win to beat the vikes. We seem to play better ON THE ROAD and will get our chance at them AGAIN in minnyhota's plastic bubble later on this year.Unless they get knocked off.I don't see the vikes even giving the saints a close game.

I see DARNELL DOCKETT peaking this year and playing like a Warren Sapp in his best days and he was famous for getting to favre in the big games.I'm looking for the WILD MAN to get crazy this week and put some major pressure on the lil' guy with the #4 on his jersey.THE CROWDS GONNA HELP OUT IN A MAJOR WAY THIS SUNDAY NIGHT ALSO.

WE'RE GONNA WIN THIS GAME!!!...Doubters need not reply.Mt Mckenzie who blocks for favre's backside is also hurting in his BACK this week and earlier and I think Haggans will have a major play or two on him.Chike Okeafor should be back to full form after a tentative weak game last week due to his poor back.Just glad he's back on the field to help Berry since we lost Will for a couple weeks.Plus we've got the Beisel to sick on them if neccesary.

DRC is horrible on pump fakes and favre is the best ever at that.I hope he's been told to play his man this week and not to worry about looking too much back into the backfield.Where as we need McFadden to turn around at least once a game while covering his man, just to see if he remembers how to do it? Ware needs to start playing again like he did in the second pre-season game and making the sure tackle up close to the LOS.ADAMS will be key and I'm hoping we don't need Brown as much this week but if we do.I hope he's on the top of his game and gets us an interception to show us why he is back there to begin with.

Rashad Johnson has been sort of a dissapointment to ME this season. He's a very cerebral kid from Alabama's defense and a two year defensive CAPTAIN that needs to start showing this late in his rookie year why he was drafted so high and that he might be called on next year to even start if things with the team don't go our way and we lose Rolle to $$$.I know we are playing more CB's in a game like this and its hard to get Johnson on the field. He'll probably be inactive again.Becht and Patrick need big games in blocking and recieving.

Warner will find the open man.Ben Patrick get open and you'll find the ball in your hands this week. The vikes have a couple week spots also against the tightend.I hope we can attack them in the seams as well.

We can't replay the colts Sunday night game but we can feel better about the season with a major WIN Sunday AND Monday nights coming up.A big win will only boost our spirits as we travel to frisco next week for the final SHOWDOWN!!!AND bring our A+ game with us.

What CARDINALS FAN could ask for more???:D :D :D

Great insight Doug-----I think that DD gets to #4 a little bit this week too. Him getting there, and Campbell getting close enough to hurry him, may just evoke an interception or two. I am virtually certain the the focus and the intent will be there, just hope the bodies are up to doing what is needed. I see these guys playing with some anger this week after the terrible loss last Sunday. That just might translate to some hurt for anyone wearing the purple in the backfield this week. With All Day and Taylor already hurting some, this could be bad news for them. I am positive there will be some Big Red loads ready for deposit onto ANYONE in purple this week.

There is also a BIG CHANCE Shiancoe(sp?) will miss the game with injury while the small CB is also questionable I think he'll be playing. It'll be great news for the CARDINALS who don't do well against tightends. The vikes still have a couple others just not in the league of this years catching of Shiancoe. One of favre's favorites this season. If Winfield misses the game then the vikes are really in trouble.

The vikes have NEVER seen a passing team like the CARDINALS this season. Its not gonna be the same game we saw last year. This CARDINALS team has grown up quite a bit since then. This game is everything to both teams on this Sunday.

I normally want the best the other team can bring but we're gonna be missing our OLT and playing a very hurt Karlos Dansby with the key role to our defense and both shoulders hurt.I'll take a missing tightend on the other team.

Every Game is a Playoff!!!

The Cards are in the Midst of their pplayoff run of last year-- they are playing better and better, get that running game going..Beef up the Defense Bill Davis, we know you can!!!:)
The good thing is we can afford the Tenn loss and one other loss.. We must beat SF anddetroit and St louis then Smack Greenass Bay!!!:mulli:that's still 11-5 if we get GB...

have the cards played a team that has 2 mvp caliber players in one backfield? that with a strong unit in front of them?

the cards gave up 500 yards last week with the johnson/VY tandem. this weeks game should be more of a challenge.

Well I'd rank Chris Johnson as much faster than AP and does'nt turn it over like AP does regularly now.Taylor has major rib problems and won't be as frisky this week.I think the best game DeAngelo Williams played this year was against us.He wanted payback.

I feel like Kurt Warner & Fitzgerald want the same payback this week against a pass defense that isn't use to what we have either. Its Dec.The time favre started to break down last year. Can Dockett get to him early and often as he did a team that does'nt give away sacks last week?

I certainly don't see the challenge of rushing favre with the fear of him running the ball like Vince Young last week at all.Why would you think that. That kept our d-line from the all out rush they like to do on the qb.Give me a break. We had to maintain our lanes as we rushed to keep VY from running the ball.He got 10 yards.

Now that we can turn our rush loose we can play much more aggressive.I just hope Karlos Dansby's shoulders hold out.Thats a big key for me.I know we can stop their run.We ought to get a fumble also.I think favre gives away a gift this week too on a tip pass or two with CC playing at 6'8" in his face.

It goes both ways. They can have 500 yards this week.I'll take the WIN!!!

AD is in the same league as CJ and DWill. What do this 3 have in common? they can average 2yards a carry for 18 carries and then hit you for 80. They do it almost every game. the first 2 already did it to the cards. My guess is AD will follow suit...

farve is a better passer than VY. He doesn't hold the ball like Vince does, but he as well is not easy to sack because he has a quick release and the ability to scramble. the vikings defense is by far more potent than the titans who gashed the cardinals in yardage. the vikings score td's as well. they don't leave points off the board.

Hey Ol' Buddy, I can't tell you enough how close you came to predicting this win. Dansby DID show up big time, and was much more than the Vikes could handle, AND his shoulders made it through the game. What a perfect game plan by the O,D, and S/T coaches, and what execution by the players. I will remember this game forever.

I am a little worried about the condition of KW's hip, as he was obviously dragging his leg around at the end of the game. I do not fear having to play Leinart in our remaining schedule though, if it becomes necessary to let KW rest and heal.

I really feel for their middle backer though-----looks to me like it might be career ending. I hope he and his family come out of this in OK shape, no matter what the future holds for him. I hope you and your family join me and mine in praying for him.

I can't say enough about the way Timmy, and the TE's, (Becht, and Patrick), helped out Bridges, and Levi on the O-line. Allen must have thought he was fighting the great wall of China itself. AND how about the front Defensive seven and the way they snuffed the life out of All Day. I also loved the way they played the old man, Bert Berry sparingly until he was really needed at the end of the game, and had him relatively fresh at that time. Best coached game ever in my opinion, and the players believed in it and played like it ALL NIGHT. God I love this team !!!!!!!!!!

So glad you're happy my Buddy. This was everything you said it was and more to come.Man did the CARDINALS catch the break of a decade by signing and locking down coach WHIZ.He also has some very, very talented coaches and trainers and scouts around him for this team to bring you memories like this for the rest of your life.

I really enjoyed myself also.Yes of course we're praying for E.J. Thats a really tragic part of the game we love. Its gonna hurt that team more than they know as he was the Q of thier defense. They are deep but that position will be hard to fill in leadership alone.

I only hope E.J. had some really good insurance and is taken care of for the rest of his life.Hope GOD fills his life with something other than football to comfort him and lift his spirits to be able to help others once again in his life.He can be a great man and still help others the rest of his life. Its just gonna be a very hard year or two to start.

GOD BLESS you Catfish.I'd of loved to have seen you last night. That was one convincing win and My guy Warner is starting to walk where not too many have gone before.I don't expect him to get the recognition he deserves. Its only a game.I just hope he enjoys himself as he's doing it and I know he gives the GLORY BACK to where his gift came from.

We are seeing something special. The CARDINALS are so deep and talented down to the man on this 53 man squad. It is amazing how the backups are so well coached up and on other teams they would be starting, yet with us they have to wait and just get a chance to rotate in and contribute. This is what any football fan would dream of for their team.Just to keep it going is the hard part.ENJOY BROTHER!!!:D
