Here is the first half:

Amare has played like lazy Amare. No concentration on defense or at the free throw line.

Nash has over dribbled and missed open shots.

Odom has dominated Amare.

Artest has hit long jumper after long jumper.

That is a recipe for a 15 point blow out.

Absolutely. SOMEBODY on our team needs to draw the defense and score. Um...Nash? Amare?

Who are we going to shutdown?

I'm surprised were only down by 7 with the way the suns are playing. If we were playing any other team, we would be up by 10. Let's see if the lakers could keep this up and the suns to wake up and play D.

Robin has impressed me and frankly, if we had Collin from the start we would be down by 15

what the hell happened to BEAST Amare that was killing people AND rebounding the basketball? 7 boards per isn't higher level basketball and 3 in the first half sure as hell ain't.

And Nash just looks off so far.

BUT, the Lakers have played GREAT and we're only down by 7. Still a game.

It is sad that Frye has the second most shot attempts in the half for our team.

We let the Lakers shoot 61% in the first half and put up 62 points. Gasol and Bynum combined for only 12 of those, but we are letting Odom dominate with 15 points in 16 minutes. Frye hasn't shown up yet. Amare scored 15, but we are going to need much more from him, especially on defense.

JRich? You really think that he is going to do anything this series? Pre-game they said Phil has decided to concentrate on JRich. Between Artest and Kobe...there is not a better couple guys to be guarding him.

The only way JRich is going to get any space is if the Suns start setting picks for him.

Also can we please try to stop odom and gasol from having a field day on the inside this is becoming not good it's just to easy for the lakers. I'm sure Gentry will make some kind of adjustment at half lets hope it's the right one.

Suns have committed 3 turnovers, Lakers 4.

Suns and Lakers both have 4 offensive rebounds.

Suns have hit 14/19 free throws, Lakers have hit 8/10 free throws.

Can we please play some defense? It might a good idea if we can hit a few 3s as well.

I agree with Charles Barkley--this was not a good first half for the Suns--and they are only down by 7 points--definitely a winnable game!!

This is setting up right. The Suns will make some adjustments on defense. Our bench will take the lead late in the 3rd.

TNT announcers are surprisingly giving the Suns some credit....

i think they gave it back to us in the second when we shot 14 FTs. Even with the foul trouble, this game didn't change until Odom came in and started lighting up Amare's ass.
