I just hate to waste one of nash's "espn classic" games.

Story of his career right? He's gotta be wondering why the basketball gods hate him so much right now. Is it racism against Canadians?

Well even though this one is rtough to swallow I'm not all that discouraged. We may not have as much talent or size as LA we DEFINITELY have more heart. We will win game 6 at home and hopefully the ball bounces (or AIRBALLS) in our favor come game 7

nah....we'd be lucky than. Make free throws. Stop L.A's easy pau gasoft's layups. Can't really do much against Kobe...just pressure him more and more and let him take over....Amare taking his thumb out of his butt, and nash playing like god again

I just hope the officiating can stay consistent one way or another, but I feel I'd be asking for too much.

so, what's the story between vuyachick and Dragic's history?

Don't quote me on this, as I haven't been following Euro basketball as closely as I used to, but I believe Dragic bumped Vujacich from the National team, which is a HUGE deal in Europe, as in the highest honor one can receive.

You can't blame Frye, dude had 10 rebounds and he sucks.

Nash was friggin amazing... He made me glad I was a Suns fan just so I can say wow I got to watch this guy play live....

Amare....sigh.... I expected him to go off tonight...4 f****** rebounds. I think Amare getting used on the court had a lot to do with our struggles inside.

I've been lurking for a while, but this game has forced me to register to say this: even as devastating as this game was, I don't feel the "all hope is lost" feeling that occurred after games 1 and 2 where we were pounded into submission. The resiliency of this Suns team tonight is something that they, and we, should be proud of (not so much for all those damned missed FTs). Coming back from an 18 point deficit to tie the game in the final seconds? That is incredible, and I hope that they can build upon that in Game 6 (and 7 hopefully.) Remember that there is some team in Orlando that is crawling their way out of an even deeper hole, so I can't give up just yet. The Lakers played pretty well, and that fact that the Suns were able to keep up in LA and force them into a do-or-die final possession could curb their confidence despite the win. I expect ALOT more out of Amare for the rest of the series, and that will be crucial.

BTW, I hate Marv Albert's commentary with a burning passion, to the point that I had to turn off the TV as soon as Artest drained the game winning shot just so that I didn't have to listen to him going ballistic like he always does calling any Lakers game.

I was wandering same thing.

Barkley gave dragic big props. Kenny smith said he was surprised dragic had that in him, and barkley said he;s not, dragic is tough and would go to sasha's house and beat his ass.

Oh damn.. How come Lakers always have this kind of lucky finish?

Looks like Suns played well. We got out-rebounded but it's somewhat expected. (Amare only 4 rebounds?)

I thought we either got blown out tonight or won. It was very very very very very close. Suns just need to re-group and take game 6 and there is still a good chance to steal a game.

Looks like Frye had a good game. Probably the best game so far. Nash seems pretty good. 33% 3pt wasn't good enough. We shot 20/29 FT. Nash missed two?! Damn, if we made 22/29 (75%), this game would have tied. Oh well, would have..should have...

Game 6 baby. I am not afraid of this Lakers team at all after tonight!!!

First off, welcome. Second, although this loss was not a pounding from L.A. and the sun's came back with heart to almost take a potential win....I think the sun's will run them off in Phx for a game 7 in L.A.
third, Amare will only wake up when he feels like it. His inconsistency break out games are really pissing me off. When we need him the most, he is non-existent and is allergic to rebounds as Frye is to the paint.
I do hope he shows...but that's all it's going to be...hope for Amare. why does it always have to be that way with that guy.

btw: you a sun's fan?

So do I...so do I....I think he'll choke in Game 7. Just have a hunch.

What did they do differently on Amare this time? I see he only had 4 rebounds but was he not giving enough efforts or?

Next game I want to see Goran go "shannon brown" on Sasha in the open court. I think the bitter animosity towards him will add a few inches to his hops.

phil jackson let out a butterfly from the palm of his hand, only to have the buttefly fly off in front of Amare, further distracting him for the entire game.....in fact, he's still staring out stupidly

Ya, I'm a long suffering Suns fan. After the game I just stared at the blank screen for a few minutes in complete shock. I hope they realize that there isn't a whole lot more that they could have done in that final second and don't come sulking back into game 6. I did see Frye charging towards the basket at least once early in the game, which surprised the hell out of me, and I hope that he continues to mix things up a bit instead of jacking one three after another. For Amare, he didn't drive in as much as I was hoping for, not just to draw fouls but to hopefully open up the shots from the outside.

Just saw the replay of last shot. Looks like Richardson was paying too much attention to the missed shot and forgot to box out Ron. He needed to at least hold on his shirt or something. It is very hard to get an air-ball rebound. sigh.

That's a tough play for JRich.

1. You don't expect Kobe to throw up an airball.
2. You have to watch your man while your watching the ball

Airballs are never a good thing at the end of games. If Kobe clanked it we would have went to OT. Happens. Too bad we were on the receiving end of it but at least we know we have a shot there if it goes to Game 7.

Yeah. I watched it again and realized that it was an air-ball. Air-ball rebound is very hard to get for sure.

****ing lucky... damn. We need to beat the **** out of them in game 6. I have a feeling Amare would step up in game 6 but not so sure about game 7.
