weather the storm... stay aggressive and force the officials to call it even.
Suns down 25-41 with 6:14 left in the 2nd quarter.Way to lay an egg in the biggest game of the season and the biggest game for the Suns in years.

Defense hasn't been awful.. the Offense however... don't know what the hell is going on there.

Quick question: Nash kicked the ball soccer-style (or hacky sack style) to the thrower-in. I'd never seen that, but shouldn't it have been a violation?

Section V-Strike the Ball
a. A player shall not kick the ball or strike it with the fist.
b. Kicking the ball or striking it with any part of the leg is a violation when it is an intentional act. The ball accidentally striking the foot, the leg or fist is not a violation.
PENALTY:
(1) If the violation is by the offense, the ball is awarded to the opposing team at the sideline nearest the spot of the violation but no nearer to the base-line than the free throw line extended.
(2) If the violation is by the defense while the ball is in play, the offensive team retains possession of the ball at the sideline nearest the spot of the violation but no nearer the baseline than the foul line extended.
(3) If the violation occurs during a throw-in, the opposing team retains possession at the spot of the original throw-in with all privileges, if any, remaining.
It's just a small thing...I was wondering if anyone else saw what I saw.

Waaahhh!!! Nash has been doing that for years and he kicks the balls to the refs too.

Honestly, I'd be more concerned if we were up +20 at the half. Then there would probably be a bigger letdown from complacency in the 2nd half.
I liked the way we started the game with the defensive intensity, but knew it wouldn't last this long. I think we are in an OK position, we will be playing with more urgency coming out of the half.
Gotta play through the refs.

I'm not crying about it, but I was always taught to never kick a basketball by my coaches and it is clearly a rules violation. Just wondering why it is allowed...

The way i read is if he kicked when it was inbounded. Nash do that every game, i would think they would have called it by now

Suns have committed 9 turnovers (Hill, Amare, and Amundson with 2), Lakers 8.
