Let's see, things the Suns accomplished tonight that many people would not think possible:

  • Dominating the offensive boards (18) and outrebounding the Spurs again 49-37

Someone tells me this happens without Robin Lopez and I laugh out loud hysterically. I have never, ever seen a Suns team crash the offensive boards like they did last night.

I hope the Suns look at this and realize that crashing the offensive glass is very effective transition defense by proxy. It allows them more opportunities to score, thus making the Spurs take the ball out of the basket. It also forces the Spurs to concentrate on securing the basketball for the rebounds, rather than starting their fast break offense.

What do you expect? its a Spurs fan. They're just bitter that their PRECIOUS Tim Duncan cant play basketball no more.

I think he proved last night that he can. He just doesn't play world class defense anymore.

Amare had a nose itch and put his other left arm to good use. I'm not sure who that was but I definitely saw Juwan make a play for his face several times.
