Putting aside the sloppiness and turnovers in the first, weird Monty rotations, and some trouble with defensive rebounding early on, the game played out exactly how it should. KD goes crazy, they start to double him, which allows Booker to have a field day. CP3 gets to relax, just be competent, and then step it up for a few possessions when the other team is locked onto KD and Book. Second, third, and fourth quarter played out exactly how every game should play out. Monty needs to tighten up the rotation, everyone needs to block out on defense, and they need to take care of the ball. If they do those things, they can beat anyone. Big props to Craig, Ayton, and Biz, in addition to the big three.

KD has been kinda off, just trying to fit in still and a bit sloppy sometimes. But he is still amazing the way he can score and pass and defend and is putting up numbers. He’s drawing lotts of attention and setting people up nicely. When he actually gets comfortable and starts droppin smooth 35-45 point games hopefully, this team will be unstoppable.

Yeah let’s not put the cart before the horse lol. Suns won but we had to work for it. That felt closer than it should’ve. We’ve gotta bring it game 3.

They have to adjust. We have to keep being aggressive and hunt good shots for our guys.
