1. Stability at QB- Skelton is not the answer and Kolb hasn't shown me anything either. With a competent QB, I believe this team could of been a 10 win plus caliber club. The QB play has been up and down, and incredibly inconsistent. Cardinals probably won't do anything in the off season other than picking up a QB in the 3rd of 4th round of the draft, but at this point I don't know what they can do next year other than start Kolb, but in actuality we aren't ever going anywhere deep in the playoffs again without a good QB.

2. Offensive line- Seems to be the bane of this franchise since I can remember. This year it's the same crap as it's always been, poor protection. The Bungles absolutely destroyed our o-line today and more than half of the league will always rack up sack records on us.

3. Running game- Flashes of brilliance from Beanie doesn't constitute a good running game. We cannot run the ball against good teams, and our running game doesn't scare anyone. We can occasionally run the ball against poorer teams such as the Rams, but other than that our running game is pretty pedestrian.

4. Play calling- It's been pretty bad this year, as it has been for the last couple. Get a competent offensive coordinator because we have had trouble moving the ball all year with the exception of the big play. We cannot consistently move the ball, and are constantly putting our defense back out on the field. Needless to say, it has been absolutely frustrating to watch this unit in 2011.

If there is anything that I have left out, that you would like to see addressed by next year, please add it.

You hit on all the things wrong with our sqaud. It all starts with fixing the OL and getting good playcalling.

Also really need some help at WR. If we had any kind of talent at all at the #2 and #3 teams couldn't triple team Fitz all day.

I don't love the QBs.. but we can win 10 games next year with Kolb or Skelton if we fix the Oline and pick up a legit #2 WR.

The only way to make that happen is to fire Whis and Grimm, the only way.

Need to keep Horton.

This. Our Oline gave up 5 sacks today and now lead the league in sacks given up (and please don't give me the crap that their all or even the majority of them are because of the QB). This team is the only one that I know of that can flat out whiff on a double team. Its just pathetic

I have a hard time evaluating QB play when they are under constant pressure especially young QBs as they tend to make mistakes (ie Dalton under pressure should have thrown 2 INTs but our Dbs dropped them)

RB is fine. It's all about the Oline. Better Oline play would allow for a more consistent run game. On our negative or short yardage run plays, it's not a RB issue, it's the fact defenders are totally blowing these plays up due to poor blocking/scheme.

Sadly the Cards are back on the 5-11 then 7-9 then 5-11 track they've been on most of the time they've been in Arizona. 3-13 the last two seasons on the road. As bad a record as any coach the Cards have ever had.

Ckw is just a luckier Vince Tobin.

1. Nothing will happen at QB position. The organization will keep Kolb as a starter with so much invested in him with Skelton as a backup. We are stuck here unfortunately.

2. We need a solid #2 WR who we can depend on with game on the line.

3. Need a stud pass rushing OLB.

4. Need to replace both OT. I hope Brown is not signed. I'm afraid we will keep Keith at the RT position and will draft a LT or start Bridges there.

5. OL pass protection and even run blocking.

6. Fire Russ Grimm... Also, unfortunately don't think that will happen with the relationship of Whiz with Grimm.

7. Need a new punter.

Beanie is playing hurt. That affects elusiveness quite a bit

running back is not even remotely a concern...Our Offensive tackles are a big concern, it is the OL that needs attention most

And how can you evaluate QB play when you have a one dimensional game - no running game. It doesn't take a brilliant DC to figure out that the Cardinals will pass almost every down and have weak pass protection.

How dare you praise Mr. Beige...that other coach that got us into the playoffs....or was that backhanded praise of CKW...either way you take it bac
k Mr....:D

Seriously, we are horrendous on the road and lost winable games at home. I guess run ba cks by a stud like Peterson to win games have to become the norm for us to consistantly win. With out them we would really suck. Whiz deserves his praise and critisim but Rod Graves needs to be tared and feathered and left in the desert for not fixing this OL. He has been here forever. Fix it already!! It is the main problem. That and not balancing the playcalling. Bet we see more balance next year.

If I were the Cardinals are would be very worried about Kolb. The sideline comment we heard today indicated that he still is suffering a lot from his second concussion. It may be that three Cs and your through.

you do realize he is playing with a bad knee that has most likely taken away his cut back ability.

Yes, he has been injury prone... we still had a solid year from him 1000 yards, 10 TD in 14 games (he missed the seattle game). If not for the bad knee, I really believe we could have gotten much more out of him. Also, Beanie is a power runner not a true cut back type of guy.

Really hopeful that Ryan Williams will come back fully recovered and will provide the cut back and long distance threat.

How does anybody say the playcalling is bad if they concede the QB play is bad too? how do you playcall your way out of a bad QB?

We lost this game because Skelton buried us the first 3 quarter. You can say we should have ran more but they were stuffing Beanie, williams is out for the year and Hyphen was hurting so who was going to run the ball?

It was obvious that there were plays to be made, Skelton missed them, which is why the sideline reporters told us more than once that Whiz was mad that we had guys open and Skelton wasn't seeing it.

Everyone looks great playcalling with Rodgers or Brees at QB, with Skelton(or Kolb when he's played) it's tougher to playcall. Add in an OL that can't pass protect for very long and it continues to mystify me how anybody knows the playcalling is bad.

It's like blaming the driver for getting lost because the GPS gave him directions to the wrong address.

You run the ball. You have plays for shorter routes or screens. You help a godawful Oline by putting a TE to help block

There are plenty of ways to do it. Our coaching staff still acts as though Warner was back there

That's exactly what Whiz has done except for the run part and that's a function of injuries at RB.

The problem is we don't have a QB who can execute the game plan and we have only one WR.

Skelton's throws are high so consistently even Fitz is starting to drop throws because he's tired of getting drilled on them.

Even the TD to King which was a low throw was behind him requiring a great sliding catch.

We see a lot of "drops" that are the result of WR's doing everything they can to get their hands on the bad throw.

I'm not saying Whiz is Bill Walsh, but I think he's done a pretty good job of scheming around his QB's this year.

I don't think people grasp how lucky we are to be 7-8 with our huge negative turnover margin. It's a combination of great returns, massive improvement on defense and coaches squeezing as much as possible out of the QB position.

Three crap QBs. Two RBs with bum knees. An offensive line that can't block.

Looking good for next season.

Well maybe the Defense can do a Ravens and hold all the other teams to 12 points a game so the Cards can win 6 or 7 games.
