Poll: Are the Suns closer to being a Good or Bad team

So much chatter about this team, the post season, dumping some or all of the players...
I'm curious as to how everyone feels about what might lie ahead over the next few years. Is this team closer to being a very good or very bad team?

this is likely the third year out of four that we're not making the playoffs... and our "superstar" is a 38 year old PG averaging 12.7 ppg and 11 assists. we are exactly what we are... mediocre at best and will be forever until we rebuild.

They are an above average with nothing but a steep decline in sight. Nash is not the player he was a few years ago but he's still our best player (by far). Whether he moves on or we keep him while his game continues to deteriorate, our future is bleak. If the organization has their way and they keep Steve and add a solid piece we'd have a chance to be slightly improved next season but still not enough to warrant that approach, IMO.

I have more faith in Brooklyn winning a title than the Suns do while Sarver is owner

I just don't see them making enough moves to bring a complete team together. If you look at a team like OKC, they have options going forward and are really young. They may have trouble keeping the roster together, but they will be deciding between harden and Ibaka who they keep moving through the next few years. Must be nice to have to make that choice as opposed to relying on an aging player and building around that.

The only way we can compete if we keep nash is to get a dynamic scorer, or a PF who can get up and down the court.

If we do keep nash, I think you keep gortat and everyone else is on the block. Even still, I don't trust the Suns to make good basketball moves.

Yeah. Thats my thinking too. Assuming Nash stays. If Nash is gone then we are a mere 6 months from slamming into the canyon floor.

Personally, I'd rather get it over with.

We are going to be horribly bad for a bit IMO.

I wanted the option "I wish we were the Clippers!".

But then, it is hard to predict the next seasons. One or two years of tanking, and the Suns could be loaded with talent and on the way up by 2015.

I want to have the 14th pick in the NBA draft for the next 20 years. Mediocrity baby!!
