I'd rather watch Cooper Rush play QB next year. He's currently vastly outplaying Kyler.
And Rush will likely be available since Jerry Jones must and will play Dak Prescott next year - regardless of how much he sucks. JJ painted himself into a corner with Dak's outrageous contract. Like Arizona with Kyler Murray, Dallas is paying an exorbitant sum for virtually no performance on the field.

im not trying to make fun of murray - if he feels how i think he feels today he's in a world of hurt - idk if there's any coming back from this past month - a lot of critics have changed their view in these last 4 games

murray had 4 chances to answer the call (this year) and failed at every turn - everybody questioned his confidence - the panther pick only solidified it - dude is mentally beat up right now

the seahawks game changed kyler murray like suge knight changed eric wright - murray has lost the focus it takes to succeed - the fear of failure has set in and now he can't get out of his own head

i mentioned yesterday the possibility of kyler figuring it all out later in his careeer on a different team - if the game slows down for him he has all the tools but we hopefully only have 1 year left on the murray express

But hasn't this big game thing been a thing since 2020 BGT?

Every single time in the last six years you put the kid into a position where we have to have a game, he can't get it done.

And I love the way you put it... when the pressure is on, he's seeing things in fast forward mode right now. 100%.

Bottom line Kyler cannot throw from the pocket. Size is one of his problems. Watch other games. Other QBs can wait until the last second to release the ball. The pass rush swallows Kyler up.
I mentioned in another thread Kyler should never stand still or drop straight back. The play call should have him moving a little right or left away from pressure with the o-line being coordinated in that direction.

I don't want us to wait that long to be rid of him. At this point, I'm not in for another year of KM.

If you want to move on from Murray, I think you want to get a rookie on a cheap contract and use more resources on the defense.

But you have to somehow get high enough in RD 1 to get your guy, and I think that's going to be an issue.

If we keep building the roster and stay with K1, we'll probably win at least eight games next year, but ******** curl up into the fetal position again in Dec. :( Drafting in the late teens for the 2026 season.

Idk. Darnold? Seems risky to me because he's going to get a huge contract, especially if he leads MIN deep into the playoffs or even the Superbowl.

And there's a reason why guys like Cooper Rush are back ups.

Right now we're not in an enviable position in terms of QB1.

It was easy for him his whole football career, he just out athletic’d everyone. He never learned know how to face adversity.

He’s always been a front runner, when things are going bad in a game he’s not rallying his guys, he’s cussing out the coach and pouting on the bench alone.

the pick yesterday wasn't from the pocket tho - it was kyler rolling out and evading which is supposed to be his specialty - he then brain farted mid pump fake and again during the throw

it's not a pocket thing it's a poise thing

I don't get the Darnold hype, don't get me wrong he is playing lights out and very efficient BUT he is who is now because of Kevin O'Connell, you bring him here and he's like he was on the Jets .
Sometimes a QB needs to get his confidence back. There is a chance that Darnold has done that. KOC absolutely had a part to play in it, but now Darnold has the recipe. Do I think he is going to produce as well somewhere else as he is under KOC? Probably not. But, can he be a viable NFL QB who can utilize his physical skills that got him drafted in the 1st round? I think he can.

Guys he doesn’t have the arm anymore. All the playcalling stuff and pocket vs rollout and Petzing and MHJ don’t matter if he can’t get the ball from point A to point B. It’s really that simple.
Kinda wild. I am really curious what happened to his arm. Normally you don't see a QB lose it under 30 like Kyler has.

he hasn't lost his arm - a few months ago we watched him roll out and throw the deep enzone dagger to wilson - he not only threw it on the run but lifted his hands in celebration before the ball even got there - because the game isn't simple it's mental - and that's where kyler has lost it

It wounds me to see you lose faith in your QB, Crimson. I'm with you but it sucks.

Again it might be cause of how tiny his arms are/body portion

It might be not being able to slow down his unreal twitch

It might be that he's still shook over that Seahawks pick 6.

However, on the INT he had Trey. I know he said he was going for the TD, but again I question if he can float a pass sprinting hard to his right/left (without stopping).

On the run before the game typing kick he had Higgins wide open and was afraid to just toss it.

He still trust his legs than when guys are 5 to 10 yards in front of him while being pressured. That or he has to come to a complete stop to make an accurate throw.
IMO he didn't stop to set his feet and make the throw is be cause then he would have to take a hit to make a play. He just won't do that.... Ever

Sadly, I don't think they even go this route. I think they keep Tune as the backup. Hell, you could bring in Rush and put Tune on the practice squad if you want to keep him--no one's signing that guy.
I really need Kyler to pass for another 150 yards to hit his preseason over. That said, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him sit that last home game against San Fran. What a mess that would be tho.

I feel kind of bad that we have such a quiescent media that no one is asking Gannon post-game if he still has faith in Kyler Murray.
