How can that happen? After Murray is going to be transcendent revolutionizing the NFL.Going take the league by storm, part the red sea, feed the masses, fix global warming, ensure world peace and preach from the mound and then go throw 4 TDs and run for 100 yards every Sunday and nary a hand laid upon him by those clumsy, slow NFL players.:sarcasm:

That’s asking a lot, but he may just be able to do all that. He’s that amazing:p

My stages of drafting Kyler Murray...

Straight up dismissal - 100% against it and convinced this was a joke

Laughter - 90% sure they wouldn't do it...just trying to drum up some value for #1 pick...right?

Doubt - 70% sure they won't draft him but what am I missing? Pours through several games and starts to think about how he fits so well into KK's offense

Resigned - 50/50. What the hell do I know about who to draft, how the organization feels about Rosen, how KM would fit into KK's offense. Sounds exciting and scary at the same time.

Hopeful - my last stage for now. I trust that we will make the right decision for the franchise.

Pretty much the same path I took. In the beginning, I was firmly in the draft Bosa camp.

So you began the process a sane man and then allowed your insecurities to inexorably drive you insane.

As a total KM believer from day 1..... I'm shocked how close that vote has gotten. 36 Bosa to 35 for Murray.

Did anyone notice the Mitch voted for Murray....didn't he ban himself? I wish he'd come back and post he always stirred up great debates

I am sure he still lurks and this would be evidence of that. It would be great if he came back but I have no idea if his current arrangement with RoTB prevents that.

Why not? I mean all the hype about picking a baseball player at the #1 pick to play football; might as well pick a "sure thing" basketball player!

:p

Straight up dismissal - MUUUHHHH he's short!

Skeptical- why are all theses experts saying Murray to the Cards? I don't want to believe they would ditch Rosen for the midget

Thoughtful- Maybe I'm missing something....let me hear (LISTEN, not just hear) what the pro-Murray crowd is saying

Considering - Well....he does look pretty good....he can make NFL throws....he's not just a "running QB"....he doesn't seem to struggle throwing behind his oline....and he avoids the big hit

Acceptance - The Cardinals would be crazy to pass on Murray. He's the real deal. Born leader. Great athlete. Humble kid.

I am a convert. Watched the film and saw the wide open receivers, the entire offense outclassing the opponents until Alabama. I forced myself to watch a lot of video, then went and watched Rosen in 2017. They both are what they appear.

Rosen is effing Eli Manning - an inconsistent QB for 3 quarters, then, down by a few scores and loopy after a few hard hits his staggering frame couldn't avoid - he gets incredibly accurate, processes plays faster, even moves faster.

Murray is the same almost every play and incredibly situationally aware. Even if I removed all the 40 YAC TDs and assumed that his players were actually tackled, like they would be in the NFL, he still looked great.

I'm fine with either, but wouldn't be surprised in the least if we went with Murray. He is more accurate than Rosen and uses his mobility well.

Yep, I am too.

If the Cardinals DON'T draft Murray, that means they see something that we don't. Fans don't get to see players behind the scenes.

So stupid.

Nick Bosa is a lot closer to (if not better than) Joey Bosa as a prospect. That is a reasonable expectation to have.

There's only been one Aaron Donald in the history of football - and he dominated college football for three years. The odds of Quinnen Williams becoming Aaron Donald are extremely slim and a ridiculous expectation to have.

Forget Donald, I have visions of Eric Swann, but an extended career... then again, Oliver is more of that kind of freak athlete:cards:

I see your point, physically, they're both the same and different at the same time. His coverage ability is questionable and hasn't been offered enough opportunities to rush from a 2-point stance.
