So in theory there is a 1 in 8 chance of the Cards going. As far as potential opponents the Raiders could face in London, Oakland has home games against Buffalo, Miami, Arizona, San Francisco and the AFC South team that finishes in the same place, in addition to AFC West opponents Denver, San Diego and Kansas City.
Here is the Cardinals 2014 schedule, minus the six division games:
Home — Eagles, Redskins, Chiefs, Chargers, NFC North.
Away — Cowboys, Giants, Broncos, Raiders, NFC South.
It would most likely be the week before a bye. As long as they had a home game scheduled after the possible bye, their body clock should be back on track.I for one don't want us going over there. We already struggle with our schedule and now they want to add a long jet lag trip to Europe? No thanks.
Wembley,
I split this out into it's own topic since you had questions and it wasn't really related to Big Ben.

But if you look at the history of NFL games in London, you will see there has never been an intradivision game played there. So that leave the Cards at a 1 in 5 chance.
Next, if you look again at the history, 7 of the 8 NFL games were interconference, so that leaves the Cards and San Francisco.
I'm sure the NFL would prefer the 49ers, but I don't know if they really want to take the battle for the Bay away from SF Bay area fans.
I think the Cards have a better than 50% chance of being picked.
I live not far from London and I'm in two minds as to whether I would want the team to come over.
Obviously it would be great to see them play but I usually come over for a couple of games anyway as my folks are still in AZ so it isn't that big a deal. What I am wary of is how inconsistant our form is, especially on the road, and how that will be affected by the trip.
That being said, most other sports are playing games overseas and sports are a global brand. There's certainly no shortage of people who want to go to the games - they're going to fill an 80,000 seat stadium three times in a short period of time for what is still a growing fan base.
I don't understand why the NFL decided it was a good idea toplayany games over there.. I read comments after the games and the UK people just talk crap about the NFL.. Just feels like stubbornness trying to get it to work..
What other sports play major games overseas?
As for another poster's comment about UK fans talking crap about the NFL. Not sure what they mean. The games are really well received over here.

Spent 3 years across the pond while in the Air Force. If the Cards go over I will see if I can afford the trip. If so then a trip to the Sherlock Holmes Pub in London is a must. Spent many a nights there putting down a few pints. Also if possible go watch Fulham play soccer at Craven Cottage.
Lets See. Cardinals Football, Sherlock Holmes Pub, and Fulham Soccer all in one weekend. That would be a trip.

That game has a horrible track record with fan violence. I wonder if it could work the opposite and for that reason they send the Oak-SF game to London?
