I just found some consistency in the first two days of the draft.

Could the Cards really just be looking for playmakers?

Peterson, Williams, and the TE are all playmakers.

Also, if the Cards could pick up Kolb/Palmer and a decent O-line then this could actually be a really good offense. They definitley have the RBs, recievers, and potential at TE now...

Or maybe they're just trying to surround Andrew Luck with as many weapons as possible.

Good call and observation NashDD. One way to get teams to stop the blitzkrieg is to make them pay with quick passes to very fast TE's and RB's.

And add the following free agents:

Mark Bulger, a deal is already in place repoted by Scouts.
Justin Blalock, LOG Atlanta, Can Atlanta sign both their starting (Harvey Dahl) OGs to large contracts?
Kevin Burnett, ILB San Diego, Attacking MLB with excellent covering skills, gained much confidence after leaving Dallas.
Lawrence Vickers, FB Cleveland,Top 2-3 best blocking FBs in the league.
Lededu Naanee, WR San Diego, Would be a great #3 WR. Last year 16.1 yards/catch.

I like your list. Not sure we need another WR but depending of Stevie B isn't re-signed may be a good choice.

Or Palmer, Hasselbeck or Bulger.

Look this offense could not keep the D off the field last season. It wasn't ONLY Anderson.

This O when called on, it was completely inconsistent running the ball.

Beannie can't stay healthy, and runs tentatively too much. Both had some fumbling issues.

They addressed it.

Now they also have a possible Novachek type TE who can run up the seam and hopefully do some other things.

You have to score points in this league and control the ball so the D isn't gassed by the middle of the 3rd Q.

Also Alanta's Tyson Clabo their starting RT is a FA.

The Ravens also will be pressed to resign their FA LT Jared Gaither, RT Marshal Yanda and RG C.Chester.
