Audric Estime. James Conner 2.0 ...young legs with no changes to the running game.Yes. Kyler isn't maximizing any WRs. Better to ensure we can run the ball with Conner and another back like Henry
Hustling backwards.Better to ensure we can run the ball with Conner and another back like Henry
What move did signing AJ Green prevent?Signing Derrick Henry would be signing AJ Green all over again.
No clue but I’m not with the side of signing a passed-his-prime player again. What move did signing AJ Green prevent?
I think these guys can fill out a roster pushing for a major playoff spot but probably retards the development of a young team.No clue but I’m not with the side of signing a passed-his-prime player again.
Eh If Conner, Carter, and Demercado are back, I think it would be a waste of a draft pick.I will not complain if Cardinals get a RB in round 2 for 2024
I like Estime and think he'd be a solid add later in the draft.Audric Estime. James Conner 2.0 ...young legs with no changes to the running game.
Of course, we would still need a scatback
Just finding legit players who can succeed without depending on Kyler to be a different QB. Age is irrelevant for a FA RB because you shouldn't be giving them too many years. No clue but I’m not with the side of signing a passed-his-prime player again.
How “legit” is he going into 2024?legit players
lol, like hell. It’s probably THE most relevant for a FA RB if anything cause there’s a reason he’s a FA in the first place.Age is irrelevant for a FA RB because you shouldn't be giving them too many years.
Stacking 29, soon to be 30 year old Running Backs, neither of which will play special teams doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.Just finding legit players who can succeed without depending on Kyler to be a different QB. You can't fill every roster need in one year. That means you need to make some short term moves. And you also need to plan on having to settle for guys because you are a train wreck franchise. Henry at 5 mil for one year isn't terrible and ensures your not drafting in the top 5 again if Conner gets hurts longer than a couple games. How “legit” is he going into 2024?

If you have to run the ball to compete, you have to spend more on RBs. I would rather use 5 mil on a FA RB so I can use my draft picks on premium positions.I said signing Derrick Henry would be like signing AJ Green all over again, but actually, it would be like signing Adrian Peterson all over again.
ll depends on where you want to spend your limited 2024 resources. Kyler has shown that he can't carry this team throwing the ball so that means we have to run it. Conner has shown that he will miss games, like most RBs. Spending 5 mil on another RB for one year doesn't hurt anything and frees up other resources.Stacking 29, soon to be 30 year old Running Backs, neither of which will play special teams doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
….no you don’t.If you have to run the ball to compete, you have to spend more on RBs
This is a good mindset, but you’re not using literally every draft pick on a premium position. Especially Day 3 picks, which would be the way to go instead of wasting it on Derrick Henry.I would rather use 5 mil on a FA RB so I can use my draft picks on premium positions
And your idea was to use that money on a player passed his prime at RB?That means you need to make some short term moves
Do you really? And you also need to plan on having to settle for guys
It’s pretty lame.Henry at 5 mil for one year isn't terrible
What is lame is depending on Demercado, Carter and some day 3 draft pick to carry your offense if Conner goes down. Have to accept who Kyler is and it isn't a QB who can carry a team without a running game. And you can't depend on the defense to be fixed in one year. And your idea was to use that money on a player passed his prime at RB?
Do you really?
It’s pretty lame.
We need a CB, multiple DL players, EDGE players, multiple WRs and OL depth. I would rather use draft picks on all of those positions vs a RB in 2024.….no you don’t.

Would argue that’s a much better decision than wasting on a passed-his-prime guy that offers nothing in the passing game. Immediate red flags would come out if Monti even made such a move because that would tell me he’s not much different than Keim. What is lame is depending on Demercado, Carter and some day 3 draft pick to carry your offense if Conner goes down.
