I've never heard the song before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but that was fantastic.

I was thinking about this last week when one of his songs came on the radio. The guy is tremendous and his voice just has so much to it. I think it may all come too easily though and almost be too clinical - to the point where you don't really appreciate how difficult it is or get fully caught up in the song

You could be right. Anyone that thinks that should try singing one of his songs and recording it. Get back to me when it conveys emotion anywhere close to his version.

Warren Haynes was with Gov't Mule & The Allman Brothers. Susan Tedschi has done her own albums & has worked with the Derek Trucks Band. I'm not sure but I think they were married at one time. All create great music.
