Preseason games are for rookies getting a feel of NFL speed for the first time & on the bubble players trying to keep a job.

That’s fine that Andy Reid does it, but I’d rather the team take the Sean McVay approach. Thankfully, the team has so we don’t have to worry about the possibility of a Budda Baker injuring himself in a meaningless game.
I have come to feel this way as well... I guess I would still like to see the old fashioned dress rehearsal where the starters play the first half of game three.

but I aint gonna trip on it. even with pre season, we see it takes the month of september for the product on the field to improve...so whats the difference?? I would rather see Bob Smith get one more chance to make the team, or to at the very least play out his glory days before he resigns himself to selling life insurance

The Cardinals have 100% shown last year that playing in the preseason is worthless.

You old people just don't adjust.
I used to be old, but when I turned 85, I put myself into the very old category. And I still can't adjust, which explains why I'm still a Cardinals fan (1947).
