Also forgot, as mentioned in the game thread, Dortch in particular really has to learn to work back to Kyler when he's flushed out of the pocket. That one play near the sideline that was nearly picked that was all on Dortch he didn't come back making it a very long throw on the run.

Marv was good, Wilson had that terrific catch, McBride had a big game, but Dortch had several mistakes.

I thought Paris had a tough game, gave up quite a bit of pressure.
1. Yeah that Dortch play was tough. He’s gotta come back for that ball.

2. McBride giving himself up in the first quarter short of the first was bad too.

3. Marv not finishing the TD catch another.

4. Benson not getting that first when had a line to the marker

5. How many free run sacks at Geno did we whiff?

6. Kyler pick 6

7. One inch from Wilson INT

It was just a weird game. I still think we were the better team just not ready for the moment. Will JG have us ready next two weeks?

Not a great game by the Cards...falling back into a multi-team tie for the division lead is NOT good. KM has always been a Jekyll and Hyde type of QB. We have to understand that and hope we see Dr. Jekyll next game and not Mr. Hyde.
Uh, simply a tie but definitely not multi-team

Sorry for your loss. We helped you guys out though anyway. You guys will bounce back. I would hate to play you guys in the playoffs again though. We always lose. Much love Cardinal fans. I hope you guys have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

I actually think we're going to play the Vikings tough, obviously they're really good but their defense is sort of falling off a bit now. ANother tough place to play, very loud.
I haven't looked closely at all of the NFC West schedules, but I see that Seattle gets MIN at home right before Christmas. The Seahawks play the Jets next week and should win - Seattle's visit to Glendale certainly looms large.

The Cardinals didn't put much effort into establishing their run, which is their bread and butter, and it made them a lot easier to defend.
Seattle sold out vs. the run, and we didn't adjust to beat it. Ready to be sick?

The biggest issue in this game is that we lost the energy and effort battle, which rarely happens. Here's hoping it was an outlier.

I thought Kyler sucked today, but he was pretty awesome the previous four games. To me, he’s still a work in progress under Gannon. The rest of the season will tell us whether or not he can be the man for a playoff team every year that can actually contend or more of a Kirk Cousins, who makes the playoffs on and off but doesn’t really have “it” to make us a year in, year out contender.
He didn't suck. McBride doesn't have his best game of his career if Kyler sucked.

Could he have played better, and did he make a couple bad throws one of which cost us a pick 6 yeah. But he didn't suck.

The O-line was the biggest culprit to me.

I’m cool with bringing Budda back, but not JC.

I appreciate JC’s bully-ball, but man I would love to see Benson & Emari get more touches. They will at least break a very long gain. We need speed.
Speaking of Emari, he spent more time with fans pregame than any other player. Super humble and nice guy! He's a lot bigger than I thought he'd be too. All three of our running backs seem bigger in person.

Damn our o-line was awful yesterday...didn't give us a chance.
Like the morning guys said today, "When he wasn't getting sacked - he sacked himself. He needs to throw it away rather than slide for a three-yard loss."

Yeah, yesterday was a reminder that Kyler is a much better QB when the offensive line is strong...he's not going to Russell Wilson style work magic when he's not protected.

James Conner is starting to look his age. He has averaged less than 3 ypc in 3 of the last 4 games. He isn't the reason we lost, but that is the closest thing I have to an overreaction.
Connor is slow as mollases and always has been. If you get him past the first level he can be very effective breaking tackles, but if he is running into a wall which is what happened most of the time yesterday he will look like crap.

The Oline is the biggest one to blame for his lack of production.

Kyler made 5 ot 6 terrible throws. Rattled, injured, frustrated or a combination of all three, his bad throws were some of the worst of his career. This throwing mechanics looks way off on those throws, which were all under pressure. I won't even say the pick 6 was the worst, for me it was over throwing a wide open McBride in the end zone. That would had made it 13-10 vs 13-6.

They've been playing so well the last few games as a cohesive unit. I wonder if bringing back a guy who has been out since week one caused any of the breakdowns?

I hear you, which is why I specifically mentioned Russ, who in his Seattle days managed to work around a bad offensive line. I'm more skeptical than ever whether Kyler can.
What really sucks is how excited we were as a fanbase when Russ got traded to the Broncos. Then Coach Pete got forced out/demoted. We all thought Seattle would nosedive for a bit. Instead, Geno Smith revitalizes his stalled career, and we haven't beaten them without Russ. SMH.

Very simple, terrible OL play, Williams took them to school. Murray has to throw the ball out-of-bounds.
The Defense played well enough to win, gave up 1 TD and a couple of FGs.
Something the Cards Offense needs is a WR with speed; like the Texans have in Nico and DELL to run fast crossing patterns and take the top off.
