Hold onto the ball, Murray!
Who said anything about Will Levis?Franklin didn't develop Will Levis, he transferred to my Cats & Liam Coen got him to the NFL.

No one, I just threw him in there because you said something about Franklin not developing QB's.Who said anything about Will Levis?
Dexter Lawrence was drafted in the middle of the first round & he’s great. Why? Is either of them a Will Anderson type edge, or dominant DT and if so, how will we get a chance to draft either one stuck in the middle of the first round after Kyler wins us a couple of meaningless games against the dregs of the league?
Oh, I specifically was talking about his INability to develop QBs! I also forgot for a hot minute that Levis played there. No, Franklin is awful "developing" QBs and often stunts their growth. That's why I would be high on Allar. I think I'm coming down off my opinion that he needs a senior season to get even better, simply because Franklin would be his coach. No one, I just threw him in there because you said something about Franklin not developing QB's.
Cam Heyward too, and he was late first. It can be done, but you have to have a great GM that can evaluate that talent. Can ours? TBD.Dexter Lawrence was drafted in the middle of the first round & he’s great.
Being a Kentucky fan, you being a Penn St fan, I thought you would get a kick out of my comment lol. Levis sure wanted out of there, I guess he saw what you see with Franklin.Oh, I specifically was talking about his INability to develop QBs! I also forgot for a hot minute that Levis played there. Oh, he made the right call. Absolutely!Being a Kentucky fan, you being a Penn St fan, I thought you would get a kick out of my comment lol. Levis sure wanted out of there, I guess he saw what you see with Franklin.
He had 1/3 of a season in 2012 ,half a season in 2013, half a season in 2014, more or less a full season in 2015, 2 starts in 2016, 2 starts in 2017 and the superbowl after that.Come on man, he is a lot better than Foles. He had like 1 starting season.
And 1 Lombardi trophy. He had 1/3 of a season in 2012 ,half a season in 2013, half a season in 2014, more or less a full season in 2015, 2 starts in 2016, 2 starts in 2017 and the superbowl after that.
1/3 of a season in 2018
1/3 of a season in 2020
1 game in 2021
So basically he had more or less 3 1/2 full seasons. Comp 62.4 over 200 yards per game 82 TD / 47 INT and QBR of 86.2 not bad not great but mediocre.
In postseason he is one of the better QB with 68.1% 272 yards per game 11/5 TD/INT and 98.8 QBR.
Look overall, Murray could be better, but he clearly showed that he isn't yet. Maybe he needs much more help, but he himself outpriced him to get that help by signing a rediculous contract that makes it quite difficult to get him exactly that help that he would need.
A dominant D would help him, but with that price tag on him, not really happening.
There are many QB that were like that in the last 3 decades, Baltimore normally was a good home for them...And 1 Lombardi trophy.
Nick Foles stepped up when it counted.
Then got paid and kinda sucked.....
Yeah...a nobody coming off the bench at the end of the season and going on a historic playoff run to win the Super Bowl happens pretty often. There are many QB that were like that in the last 3 decades, Baltimore normally was a good home for them...
