I'm curious to see how San Diego is going to be the rest of the year. They won a road playoff game last year in addition to giving the Broncos one of their losses. They are much better than many seem to be giving them credit for and the win last night showed that the Cardinals are going to be a tough team to beat this year.

My Top 10:

1. Seattle - obvious choice
2. Niners - embarrassed Boys at their home
3. Broncos - they can be had
4. Falcons - they never stop coming
5. Colts - starts games so slow, but finishes fast
6. Cards - strong D, offense that never quits
7. Bengals - well balanced team, good on both sides of ball
8. Packers - are they overrated once again
9. Eagles - one sided team, but that one side is tough to stop
10. Dolphins - getting better and better, yet still unnoticed

Close but no cigar:

Panthers - DA: haha
Saints - can't count on them on the road
Lions - good as usual but when will they fold as usual
Chargers - always start the year losing, yet finish so strong
Jets - they play tougher than expected & Geno looks ready to QB

Yes, but what about:

Patriots - they get no love from me

My National Writer Rankings:

Mine:

1: Niners: They beat the world-beating Cowboys after all!

2. Broncos: Peyton Manning can't be ranked below #2 contractually

3. Seahawks: If they didn't play in that building, they'd suck

4. Steelers: Beat future hall-of-famer Brian Hoyer

5. Packers: Will now go 15-0

6. Vikings: Only team to beat a NFCW squad

7. Patriots: Get a pass for humidity

8. Saints: Drew Brees and Sean Payton get a pass on the road.

9. Chargers: Amazing effort. Lots of heart. Philip Rivers to have a breakout year.

10. Falcons: They were on Hard Knocks, so I like them now.

15. Cardinals: Got lucky.

To be honest...I don't know what to think of this team yet either.

Crisper57's National Power Rankings After Week 2

1. Seattle: If the Pats can blame the heat in Week 1, then the champs get to use that excuse too! Plus, it wasn't fair that Philip Rivers wouldn't let Russell Wilson play with his ball for 75% of the game!

2. Denver: I am putting them on here out of pity. Because after they visit Seattle in Week 3, no one is going to respect this team anymore. They'll be doing the walk of shame all the way back to Denver.

3. Philly: They went on the road and beat the Indianapolis Andrew Lucks. I mostly rank them this high because they seem to be able to take the field with 19 people, including the 8 officials.

4. Bengals: This team looks legit and is my #2 team in the AFC right now. Plus Devon Still > Adrian Peterson right now.

5. Saints: They're 0-2? Pay no attention to that! We know they wouldn't win on the road anyway! They never do! But now that they have 8 games at home and only 6 more on the road, they will win the majority of their remaining games. Plus, Drew Brees!!!!!!!!

6. Panthers: Only until the Saints come marching through Carolina, though. Drew Brees!!!!

7. Patriots:That was a quality win, going into Minnesota and thrashing an Adrian Peterson-less Vikings squad!

8. Bears: They beat the Niners in SF. Wait, why are they so low on my list? Oh yeah, Drew Brees!!!!

9. Niners: Sure, they looked pretty bad in the second half. But a good half of 49er football is usually enough to put most teams away. I'll let due process play out before I judge the Bears loss more harshly.

10. Chargers: I bet if they had to wear their blue uni's in the heat, they wouldn't have won. Plus, I'd rather punch Philip Rivers in the face than move his team up into single-digit rankings.

11. Houston Texans: Why not show them some love while it lasts?

12. Buffalo Bills: See #11 above

13. Arizona Cardinals: Those weren't gutsy 4th quarter comebacks. Those were choke-jobs by their opponents. The Cards should be 0-2, but I have to rank them here before we start getting accused of bias or something. I don't know. My editor had to remind me that Arizona even has a team.

Week Two power rankings

8. Arizona Cardinals (No. 12; 2-0): It’s hard to remember this team is 2-0, probably because they should have lost both of their games.

Per PFT

Link

this one is BS. We held the lead for probably 50 minutes of that game. Did the Giants make mistakes? yes. but the idea that they should have "won" that game is ludicrous.

Florio despises us. Not sure why, but he can never give credit.

Must have lost BIG on the Super Bowl.

I mean... seriously, for what other reason would ANYONE hate... or even pay attention to the Cardinals?

LOL.. I wonder why he likes the Cardinals so much. He isn't from here is he?

No he is not so I don't know how he became a Cards fan. I didn't even know until his guest appearance on Jimmy Fallon but since then read it a couple more places.
